Completely changed the course of direction for the 1990s @Yankees.
Also, one of the best interviews on @ESBPodcast (EP #91) with @therealjleyritz breaking his full at-bat down!

Step in the box then guy.
Go ahead. Bat is half the size and you can’t move your whole body.
Do it
So Chapman hits 105 MPH stationary, you give him a running crow hop to throw how fast do you think a Chapman or Miz is throwing?
They will throw so hard it will literally kill the batter. With protection. It’s not a contest.
Also if this were remotely true, MLB would be filled with former cricket players. Why MLB pays farrrrrrrr more than the average cricketer makes anywhere in the world. Cricket players would be flocking to MLB where mediocre players out early nearly every cricket player.
But there are exactly 0 of them in pro baseball. Because they can’t play.
Replying to @BronxBmbrz
A pro cricketer can become a pro in baseball can't say the same for baseball players cricket is way more technical the way ur guys bat and pitch the ball that type of shit is literally done by a child who's playing cricket in the streets
I hate where the “plane of the swing is” make it simple, if the end of the barrell crosses 1B/3B line. Which is lined up with the corner of the plate btw. It’s a swing.
This random plane, you can hit a ball and it’s not a swing be this definition.
Also let’s compare levels of athlete
Which one looks like they professional sports at the highest level?
No disrespect,
But here's some harsh reality:
A cricketer can play baseball and with enough coaching and prep some might even go pro.
A baseball player becoming a cricketer? Not even reach domestic level. Not even as a batsman.
Bowling? Lmao,Thats different beast
All together
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Cricketers rarely reach pro baseball beyond minor leagues (e.g. Rinku Singh); baseball players have transitioned to competitive cricket including national levels, contradicting one-sided claims.
