First of all, the club needs to be sold. No serious manager should walk into a club where the problems go far beyond the pitch. Manchester United have become a mediocre club with serious structural problems. The people running the club have allowed standards to fall far below what Manchester United should represent. You can change managers every year, but nothing will change if the same problems remain at the top. Manchester United is dead as a football institution right now, and no manager can magically bring it back to life. A manager needs stability, ambition and proper backing to succeed. Until the club is sold and the people in charge are replaced, I don’t see anything good coming from Manchester United. For me, taking that job under the current circumstances would be career suicide. I have no interest in becoming another manager blamed for problems I didn’t create. Manchester United need to fix the club before they start looking for another manager.”

Columnist @mariannezw gaat aangifte doen tegen Hugo de Jonge. Dat doet ze naar aanleiding van uitspraken die hij deed in zijn eerste #coronaverhoor. De columnist toonde samen met onderzoekers aan dat die uitspraken gelogen waren. 'Hij nam ze in zijn tweede verhoor niet terug, sterker nog: hij herhaalde de uitspraken. Dat is liegen onder ede en dan voel ik mij genoodzaakt om aangifte te doen tegen Hugo de Jonge. Hij laat me geen andere keus.' De betreffende uitspraak van De Jonge ging over dat er in het ziekenhuis alleen ongevaccineerde mensen lagen. Dat is volgens Zwagerman niet waar. Opiniemaker @wierdduk geeft aan dat het zou kunnen dat dat om hele oude mensen ging.
