Evangel Athletics Announces 2026 Spring AD Honor Roll evangelathletics.com/news/20…

Evangel Athletics mourns the loss of Hall of Fame softball player, Summer (Kimble) Naegel. Summer was a member of the Evangel Softball team from 1998-2001, where she became the first ever NAIA All-American Softball player at Evangel, winning the honor twice. (1999, 2001) Kimble valiantly fought breast cancer for over a decade, serving as a youth softball coach in Ohio for several years. The two time NAIA All-American, Kimble was named to the Evangel Hall of Fame in the fall of 2010. Our prayers are with the Kimble and Naegel family, during this time of loss and mourning.
