The ECHA’s Biocides Committee (BPC) concluded that #ethanol may be approved for use in hand and general disinfectants. The Committee did not take a position on whether it should be considered a carcinogenic or reprotoxic substance. Read the news - fcld.ly/ethanol26
A recent EU-wide enforcement pilot project on poison centre notifications found:
▶️ 19% of the inspected hazardous mixtures were not reported to poison centres
▶️ In 15% of the inspected mixtures, the required UFI code was missing
