I trust you guys will help support this message and understand my point better, those who retweet this I appreciate it 🙏 Lets be realistic.. ASA comes out August right? Official servers will be taken down Ark1s legacy will be fade Ark ASA Will have glitches most likely, not meet deadlines, PROBABLY have encounters with cheaters But then you have to take the aspect of Ark in general.. Its not just the product its the company that runs it.. Will they be fast with support? Will they be vocal and communicate the issues that they should address that every other gaming company should? Quality Assurance? Quality Control? Damage Control? Will they give us the slightest hope even if its a little lie? Example the issue what we have right now with the exploit.. What could of happened to ease the mind? "Hey folks we are aware of the issue and are working on it" Rather than 5 days of silence... What happens in those 5 days? You decide to move on to a different game. You feel a sense of depression, loss of hope, feeling that Ark will never be the same.. But every bit of speaking even if its not the highest quality detail to explain a situation matters, its just about showing your acknowledgement that you care, understand and are working on it. Then you have to take in other consideration of the hype.. Was it worth it? Are the graphics good? Then for PVP You have to remember that their is a history with the Publisher of the game and they affected all of PVP game modes.. Those being - Official - Legacy Official - Arkpoc - Small Tribes - Conquest - Classic So once ASA drops.. What's to say they aren't gonna crave that nice fresh wipe to test their power on? Snail games had every bit to do with the fall of PVP on Official servers, Not the cheaters, not the slow enforcement but the consistent admin abuse they brought along with it. They banned numerous innocent tribes, cheated against them etc.. Then you have to take consideration of what we got with how the community is perceived now to the general public... You think other content creators besides the ones we currently have is gonna wanna play Ark? Atlas is a sister company and they see that mixed with Ark from that whole issue with the main menu and know the company is involved so its like.. it reduces chance for them to redeem themselves if its not even a well developed infrastructure built with the community... It would feel like lying to your audience and streamers/youtubers have pride.. Even if its for a bag they dont want to bring attention to something.. Summit/xQC absolutely BASHED Atlas.. even Shroud, Ark Mechanics of no hit/ blood splatters were even in Atlas....its just been failure after failure.. Yes we will get a lot of people coming back to TRY ASA but will they really stay? If Mechanics aren't changed for the better, if WC doesn't throw us a bone like giving gameplay and transparency you can say this community is done for because as I said. Ark 1s legacy and memories will be withered away. I've added nothing but pure passion into this game, over 36k hours, grinding day in and out, inspiring what we got and I dont want to see it just waste away... I sound so blunt and I can sound like an asshole and entitled but do I not have a right to be? I want to see this game thrive rather than being a laugh stock and being forced to move off of the foundation that help build my channel! To start off I would also note to those who are unaware their are devs that occasionally speak in the Ark discord but we need to still have the social medias speaking.. Twitter/Discord/Forum whatever it just needs to be more out there! It just feels like there's been conflict in Studio Wildcard..
