We're continuing to appeal for info after a motorbike and blue BMW 1 Series collided in Eastern Av, #Southend, at 1.24pm today. We're particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a black 4x4 behind the BMW 1 Series. A man remains in a life-threatening condition. Call 101

So first operational shift completed as a PC this morning. A great day, didn't feel like I'd been away. A variety of incidents dealt with. Can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow. #firstday

We can provisionally identify a man who died after being stabbed in #Southend earlier this week. We have also arrested a third person, a 20-year-old man from Southend. Three people remain in custody. Read: essex.police.uk/news/appeals…

Lovely day. Many of the constables had relatives in the police so know what they were getting into. Water bottles and an occasional stand easy meant no one fainted. March past was very impressive, they had obviously been practicing very hard. nitter.gq/EssexPoliceUK/status/9…
