Now that the Dev Boost in Rocket League exsists. They should make every painted variant in the future be the last tier in the rocket pass. It would be really hard to earn making it rare but possible for anyone who puts in the work. Then you'd have the alpha boost in all colors.
I was worried about this. I actually liked that this boost was so rare. Now it's fairly easy to get. I am not a child of the "everyone gets a trophy" era and think it's good for there to be a challenge that most won't ever archive. I was stoked about this boost being that.
We tried something new with Dev Boost, and it led to a poor match experience and was hard for the global community to participate in. We want this to be a fun reward that anyone can earn, so Dev Boost is now a Free Tier 99 reward in the Season 24 Rocket Pass.
Dev Boost is no longer granted by winning with or against a developer.
Black market trade ins, honor duels, custom scoreboard, and stat tracking titles all coming in season 24!
This is awesome! If you can't be there in person, this would be a cool way to watch it!
This is a new kind of flick ๐ฟ

The end is now inevitable. This is sad news but I guess we've known this was coming for a while. Just really sad it's officially confirmed. We should all meet up in the game one last time on the last day to send it off right. I still have some fireworks!
New World: Aeternum will officially be taken offline from all platforms on January 31, 2027.
