I am a proud member of ACRI's International Advisory Board. ACRI often is described as "the ACLU of Israel" - and is at the front lines of trying to protect and expand Israeli democracy. Please join me in supporting their vital work. Glad to respond to any questions ... #ACRI
Israel right now has the most extremist, racist government in its history, and @acri_online is on the frontlines fighting against the racist initiatives being pushed forward by this government. Please consider donating today to this heroic organization: go.acri.org.il/en/donation-c…

“Everyone needs to understand that the anti-trans movement disguises itself as a series of local campaigns when it is actually a highly organized and sophisticated effort run by Christian Nationalist networks with vast resources." Thanks to @AliVelshi for having me on.

Texans own among the most guns per capita of any state. If more guns and fewer gun laws made us safer, Texas would be the safest state. Instead it has high rates of gun suicide and homicide, and is home to four of the 10 deadliest mass shootings in the US. Allen, Texas

All Americans should have the freedom to be their true selves and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. On Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate trans and non-binary Americans. We see you and will never stop fighting for you.

I am so honored to serve on the board of @NewPrideAgenda_ with @imarajones - opening hearts and minds every day
The new anti-trans targeting adults represent a dangerous escalation on the attacks on our community. I appreciate @MSNBC and @AliVelshi for having me on to spotlight what’s going on, why it’s happening, and its overall impact.

Not surprised to see my always helpful @nyulaw colleagues @ProfMMurray and @barryfriedman1 making the list!
I like this a lot: Instead of a list of who is most cited, a list of who is most thanked for helping others by commenting on their papers. (With the team of people working as @marklemley listed #1, and, appropriately, the late Dan Markel as #2.) review.law.stanford.edu/wp-c…

Yes, the fmr officers are Black. It's still about white supremacy. Structural racism and white supremacy are about a social order that uses physical and economic violence to keep Black people in "their place" – denying economic opportunity, education, basic dignity, and safety.

I am looking forward to reading this graphic novel which explores all that was at stake.
"We wanted to give a really clear picture of what would've happened if the Jan. 6th Insurrection succeeded. We can not be complacent." Thanks @RUWithSonali + @SonaliKolhatkar for a great interview on Issue #1 of our upcoming graphic novel, 1/6: vimeo.com/786077825

Great start to the new year with a HUGE WIN for #fairmaps and #votingrights this time out of South Carolina, where a federal court has struck down the state’s Congressional map as unconstitutional. @ACLU @ACLU_SC @NAACP_LDF @arnoldporter @CHSbryant @acepedaderieux @SomilBTrivedi – at Brooklyn, NY
BREAKING: A federal court struck down South Carolina’s congressional map because it intentionally discriminates against Black voters. It’s time for the South Carolina legislature to adopt a map that allows us ALL to fairly participate in our democracy.
