Your losing streak doesn't define you.
Your winning streak doesn't make you invincible.
Stay humble when you win. Stay disciplined when you lose.

One of the hardest skills in trading is watching the market move without you.
Not every move is your opportunity.
Let price come to your setup. Let confirmation come. Let your rules guide you.
Missing a trade is better than forcing one. 📈

Getting paid for the attention you bring to a project should be straightforward.
That’s what we are trying to make possible.
Projects launch campaigns, creators participate, and rewards depend on the engagement they bring.
Here’s a quick look at the platform 👇
Every time money moves, a record needs to be kept.
Banks keep record of transactions.
Businesses keep records of payments.
But what happens when you want a system where people can share and verify records without depending on one central authority?
That’s what we call “Blockchain”
Learn how blockchain works in simple terms 🧵🔻
What exactly is blockchain?
A blockchain is a digital record book shared across a network of computers.
It records transactions in groups called blocks. Each block is linked to the previous one, creating a chain of records.
Once information is added and confirmed, changing it becomes difficult because the network can detect changes to earlier records.
That’s the basic idea behind blockchain.
How does blockchain work?
Let’s say you want to send money to someone using a blockchain network.
Here’s what happens:
-You initiate the transaction.
-The network checks whether it follows the rules.
-Valid transactions are grouped into a block.
-The network confirms and adds the block to the existing chain.
-The transaction becomes part of the recorded history.
The exact process depends on the blockchain but that’s the general idea.
Now you might be asking “who controls the records?
This is one of the biggest differences between a traditional database and a public blockchain.
With a bank, the bank maintains the official transaction records.
With a public blockchain, multiple computers maintain and verify copies of the records according to the network’s rules.
These computers are called nodes.
Instead of relying entirely on one institution to maintain the record, participants can verify the same history.
How does blockchain prevent people from changing transactions?
Blockchain uses cryptography to connect blocks and help protect the records.
Each block contains a digital fingerprint called a hash. It also includes information that links it to the previous block.
If someone changes an earlier block, its fingerprint changes, disrupting that connection.
The network can detect this.
On a properly secured blockchain, changing confirmed records can be extremely difficult because an attacker would also have to overcome the network’s security and consensus rules.
What is decentralization, and why does it matter?
Decentralization means control is distributed among multiple participants rather than placed entirely in the hands of one central authority.
On many public blockchains, different participants help verify transactions and maintain the network.
This can reduce dependence on a single institution.
However, not every blockchain is equally decentralized. Some rely more heavily on a small number of validators or operators.
The level of decentralization depends on how the network is designed and managed.
Where do Bitcoin and Ethereum fit into all this?
$Bitcoin and $Ethereum are two well known examples of blockchain networks, but they serve different purposes.
$Bitcoin was designed around a peer-to-peer electronic payment system and is widely used as a digital asset.
$Ethereum allows developers to build applications that run using smart contracts.
Both use blockchain technology, but they have different designs, rules, and capabilities.
Understanding this difference helps you see why blockchain is bigger than just buying and selling coins.
What are smart contracts?
Smart contracts are programs stored and executed on a blockchain.
They follow instructions written into their code when specific conditions are met.
For example, a decentralized exchange can use smart contracts to carry out token swaps according to programmed rules.
This allows certain transactions to happen without an intermediary manually processing every step.
However, smart contracts are not automatically safe.
Errors in their code can lead to serious losses.
What can blockchain be used for?
Blockchain technology can be used in several areas:
-Payments: Transferring digital assets between people.
-DeFi: Building financial services that operate through blockchain applications.
-Digital ownership: Creating and transferring tokens representing digital assets.
-Supply chains: Recording the movement of products between different parties.
-Digital identity: Supporting systems for managing and verifying certain identity information.
-Applications: Running programs through smart contracts.
The important question is not simply whether a project uses blockchain.
It’s whether blockchain actually solves a problem for that project.
Does blockchain have disadvantages?
Yes, and understanding them is just as important as understanding the benefits.
Some networks have high transaction fees.
Others struggle with speed when demand increases.
Transactions on many blockchains are difficult or impossible to reverse once confirmed, which means sending funds to the wrong address can be costly.
There are also security risks, scams, and vulnerabilities in smart contracts.
Blockchain can offer useful solutions, but it doesn’t eliminate risk or guarantee that a project is legitimate.
Blockchain vs. cryptocurrency: What’s the difference?
These two terms are often used interchangeably, but they aren’t the same thing.
Blockchain is the technology used to maintain a shared, verifiable record.
Cryptocurrency is a digital asset that can operate on a blockchain network.
Bitcoin is an example of a cryptocurrency.
Ethereum is a blockchain network whose native asset is $ETH.
In simple terms, cryptocurrency is one of the things blockchain technology can support. It isn’t the technology itself.
Blockchain changes how digital records can be maintained, shared, and verified between participants.
It provides the foundation for cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and many blockchain based applications.
But understanding the technology is only the first step.
The real value lies in understanding what is being built on it, the problem it solves, and whether it solves that problem well.
That’s the foundation of understanding Web3.
