The problem is most Christians are clueless of the true Healing Gospel of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ changes the heart and mind. I pray Christians would realize the truth and have true heart change. comeandreason.com/the-seven-… – at Gangnam-gu, Republic of Korea

Yes, Texas has mail-in (absentee) ballots, but only for specific eligible voters: age 65+, sick or disabled, out of county during early voting and Election Day, expecting to give birth near Election Day, or confined in jail (and otherwise eligible). No universal/no-excuse option. Applications must be received by the county by the 11th day before Election Day. Details at VoteTexas.gov.

Analyses show even 100% taxes on income over $500k would not cover the ~$2T annual deficit. Debt is ~$40.5T. Trump in 2016 debates defended low taxes via business debt/leverage rules as smart. Revenue from high earners is substantial yet finite versus spending and interest growth.

The most likely legislation Congress can pass that Trump will sign will preserve all the tax cuts Trump brags about but include all the extra spending that Democrats want. It may also contain a complete repeal of the national debt ceiling and price controls on credit card interest rates. The result will be massive increases in already massive federal budget deficits. If the economy also slips into recession due to a big slowdown in AI capex, budget deficits currently running at around $3 trillion annually could rise to nearly $5 trillion. That will send the national debt soaring to $50 trillion by the end of Trump's term. To accommodate those massive deficits, the Fed will open up the monetary spigots like never before, launching the mother of all QE programs. The U.S. dollar will tank, and consumer prices will go through the roof. This will also put substantial upward pressure on long-term bond yields and mortgage rates, crushing the economy and housing market. To avoid a worse financial crisis than in 2008, the Fed will choose higher inflation instead and buy Treasuries and MBS in record amounts. Since the Fed won't buy corporate or municipal bonds, expect those yields to soar, wreaking havoc on state and local governments and the stock market. Since credit card interest rates will likely be capped, expect most consumers to be completely cut off from credit. If price controls extend to consumer goods, expect shortages, long lines, black markets, widespread power outages, and civil unrest. Since the war can't really end unless we surrender by caving in to Iran's demands, it will likely continue. Since the Strategic Petroleum Reserve will run dry if we don't stop the drain, oil prices will rise sharply, perhaps to $150–$200 per barrel. Even if Trump manages to end the war by promoting a defeat as a great victory, oil prices will rise anyway. The 2028 election will be a blame game, with each party accusing the other of being responsible for the worst economy ever and the highest inflation in U.S. history. Voters have a track record of blaming presidents and their parties for the affordability crises, so not only will the Democrats win the White House, but they will also increase their majorities in both houses of Congress, likely reaching a filibuster-proof 60 seats in the Senate. Their policies will risk turning record-high inflation into hyperinflation. The only thing you can do now is protect yourself, as there is nothing you can do to protect the country. In fact, by not going broke like the vast majority of Americans will, you will be better positioned to help rebuild what both Democrats and Republicans will have destroyed. Load up on gold and silver now while you can still afford to buy them. schiffgold.com

When the Republicans took control of Texas in '94, the Republicans had a deficit to fix because the Democrats had over spent. @TexasTribune Are the Democrats going to over spend now too?

1. Ted Cruz has now joined JD Vance and Ron DeSantis in forcefully criticizing the Iran war and refocusing our attention on the economic circumstances of working class Americans. 2. That’s basically the entire field of Republican candidates for President. 3. And guess what? Anyone else who wants a real shot at being the Republican nominee is going to have to adopt pretty much the same approach. 4. This dynamic has been clearly visible since April, when the Trump administration tacked toward peace talks with Iran in an attempt to save the elections. 5. That was seven months ago. For seven months, we’ve been watching the administration struggling to extract itself from the trap of an ongoing war that the voters didn’t want. 6. The attempt failed—and the voters went to the ballot box on November 3 feeling disgusted, alienated, and betrayed by the Republican Party. 7. Maybe the scale of the voters’ repudiation of the GOP is surprising. But the dynamic that brought about this result is *exactly* the same one that we’ve been watching and talking about for seven months. 8. Maybe you didn’t know that a bitter and alienated public was what the administration was dealing with? Maybe you didn’t know that this was why these hopeless talks with the Iranians were taking place? 9. But if you didn’t know this was the main thing happening in U.S. electoral politics heading into the midterms, it seems like you should be asking yourself: *Why* didn’t I know? How did it happen that I was so completely cut off from political reality in America? 10. And if you’re in an especially introspective mood, you might also ask yourself: How did I behave when people tried to tell me what was happening? Did I try to understand what they were seeing? Or did I just attack anyone who was trying to explain reality to me? —end for now—

Texas Republicans worried for years that Democrats moving in from out of state would ultimately turn the state blue but I don't think anybody expected that one extremely annoying REPUBLICAN moving in would do it

By embracing the croniest of crony capitalism, Trump and the Republicans have so discredited the real thing that they have paved the way for socialism to take hold in America like never before. The road leads to much higher inflation and a much lower American standard of living.

They did not "California your Texas" They turned Texas into a mishmash of Mexico, India, and half the third world. Blaming a small number of White Californians is a cop out. They diversified your Texas.

I’m a native South Carolinian who has voted Republican or third party my entire life. Lindsey Graham was always an embarrassment for my state. So was installing his sister by bloodright after he passed. I prefer that my fellow South Carolinians choose our representatives rather than the Washington establishment that Lindsey always served, including his billionaire donors whose first allegiance is to a foreign country, not ours. I voted for Libertarian Kasie Whitener for US Senate. Vote your conscience.

When Obama’s NSA and FBI were caught unlawfully spying on Americans everywhere, I led the charge to shut down their unconstitutional program. Mike Rogers led the charge to excuse and defend the government’s actions and to enshrine Patriot Act and FISA abuses in law. He then worked (and failed) to oust me from Congress because, as an ardent defender of the Constitution, I was constantly standing in his way. During his time in Congress, no member acted with such unbridled hostility to the Bill of Rights as Mike Rogers. In these midterms, there can be no greater win for the American people than to keep him out of the U.S. Senate.
