Harry
At just 8 years old, an young Harry Kane was 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 by Arsenal after being labelled “a bit chubby” and “not very athletic.” 💔 They didn't believe he had what it took. Before becoming a superstar at Tottenham, he was sent out on 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥 loan spells: 🇬🇧 Leyton Orient — League One 🇬🇧 Millwall — Championship 🇬🇧 Norwich City — Premier League 🇬🇧 Leicester City — Championship Four loan spells. Countless setbacks. Years of being doubted. He went on to become Tottenham's 𝗔𝗟𝗟-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 leading goalscorer, England's 𝗔𝗟𝗟-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 leading goalscorer and one of the deadliest strikers in world football. ⚽ But despite all those goals, records and individual awards, one thing kept eluding him... 𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗬. 🏆 He had to wait until he was 𝟯𝟭 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗟𝗗 to finally lift the first major trophy of his career. From being rejected as an 8-year-old to becoming a champion at 31. 𝟮𝟯 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝘽𝙀𝙏𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙍𝙀𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉. He never stopped working. He never stopped believing. He 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 gave up. 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐄. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄. ❤️👏

Recovery ni hii tu Leo.
Go for that recovery run today. 20–30 min, very easy pace. Light movement boosts blood flow to sore muscles, clears out waste and eases stiffness so you recover faster. If you fee sharp pain, walk or rest instead. Don’t say we gatekept this

Norwegian Church Aid Advances Interfaith Climate Advocacy Ahead of COP31 The Norwegian Church Aid Advocacy Programme Africa participated in the #AfricaCantWait Pre-COP31 Multi-Faith Convening, bringing together faith leaders, interfaith actors and technical experts to strengthen collective advocacy for climate justice ahead of COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye. The convening provided an important platform for connecting faith perspectives, community experiences and technical expertise to concrete climate policy demands, with a focus on ensuring that global climate commitments translate into meaningful action for vulnerable and frontline communities. Through the participation of Vincent Ondieki, Regional Climate Justice Coordinator at Norwegian Church Aid, NCA contributed to discussions on the Adaptation and Resilience track, supporting efforts to develop clear advocacy messages that reflect community realities and strengthen calls for locally led, inclusive and adequately financed climate adaptation. As Africa continues to experience the growing impacts of climate change, adaptation must move beyond commitments and plans to effective implementation. This requires accessible and predictable climate finance, stronger support for National Adaptation Plans, meaningful community participation and accountability for results. As we approach #COP31 and look towards #COP32 in Ethiopia, the priority remains clear: bridge the gap between global climate commitments and locally led action that builds resilience, protects livelihoods and leaves no one behind. Through the Africa Can’t Wait campaign, NCA reaffirms the importance of collective interfaith advocacy in advancing a just and inclusive climate response for Africa. #InterfaithClimateAction #LocallyLedAdaptation

Religious communities are development partners, not opponents of it. Governments and faith institutions must work together, combining public resources and technical expertise with local trust to protect people most at risk from climate-related disasters. #Faiths4Climate #Elnino26
