I can't tell if Nathan Fielder is playing a character or not. Genuinely can't tell if everything he does is a bit. It's unnerving.

There's no way that's all Brandon Lowe gets.
If 3 years/$45 million is the projected neighborhood for Brandon Lowe, the #Pirates would be foolish not to offer that.

If you know, you know. Ed's put out an early Halloween basket, and it's gold.

Before we hit what may be a very long offseason, I wanted to shout out a few of the best, lesser-known accounts on Red Sox twitter. There are, of course, many others, but these are the ones I'm choosing the highlight today. 1. @Bergeron_MLB: The best Red Sox writer you're not following (unless you are.) The same sort of brain as Ian Cundall or RedSoxStats. 2. @NickJJ95: Just quietly does an excellent job covering the minors. His Spring Training coverage back in February and March was especially useful this year. 3. @OwBroMedia: My protege has come a very long way since we met over a year ago at Section 10 night. Looking forward to having him back once his current contract elsewhere ends. 4. @TJBennetttt: An absolute workhorse of a content creator. There were points during the season that he carried @BeyondtheMnstr and deserves a ton of credit for that. 5. @therlansystems: George writes the only weekly baseball column I always make sure to read, "the Pundit of Pesky Pole".

Outfield instruction, I would hope.
The Red Sox are bringing on Jason Bell, previously of the Astros, as the outfield instructor on the major league staff, source says. They’re still sorting through the exact responsibilities.

Delzine is such a good final pick.
My last two picks in the 2026 #ToolshedProspectMock. 17.250 JD Dix (ARI) Solid runner with sneaky raw power upside. Could be a Top-100 guy at some point in 2027. 18.261 Sadbiel Delzine (BOS) Electric right-hander who had a 2.64 ERA & 20.6% K-BB in 2026. Major breakout appeal.

Can only imagine the historic celebration in Iowa should the Sox somehow DFA/non tender both Connor Wong & Nate Eaton in November to set their winter 40 man roster. Think @Hogdale_ has an emergency podcast?

DFA. 1. Raymond Burgos 2. Jahmai Jones 3. Nate Eaton Then one of Kutter Crawford, Romy Gonzalez, Zack Kelly, Tyler Samaniego. If you can trade someone or sneak them through waivers, that's obviously preferable.
The Red Sox have to clear four 40-man roster spots within five days of the World Series ending because they have a ton of 60-day IL guys (7) and not many free agents (3). How would you do it?

Most people said they sucked, what this selective memory? There are records of this.
As an older millennial that was a teenager for these movies, I do not remember anybody saying the prequels sucked at the time. That was social media revisionism by nerdy edgelords on social media 10 years later. Episode I is a masterpiece (and Empire is still my favorite)

Actually pretty cool.
Former Rays pitchers Zach Eflin, Tyler Glasnow, Pete Fairbanks, and Chris Archer are all in attendance for Game 4!

The Adley Rutschman trade, believe it or not, was this for me.
Name a trade you still can't believe actually went through. The one where the alert hit your phone and you said there's no way that's real. Any sport, any era.
