I had a great conversation with the UK Prime Minister @AndyBurnham, and we are grateful to Britain for its unwavering, strong, and truly leading support. Today, Britain made a strong decision to provide an additional £10 billion in financial support – £7 billion in economic support over the next three years, and another £3 billion in British export support, primarily for the supply of much-needed weapons that will strengthen our protection of lives. This is on top of the annual support Britain already provides to Ukraine.
A truly strong and very timely step – coming right as Russia needs to see and feel that Ukraine will not be left alone to deal with the problems Russia is so eager to escalate. Every step to strengthen Ukraine brings Russia closer to realizing that it must end this war of its own making.
Of course, Andy and I also discussed sanctions policy, and Britain will remain principled on this – setting an example that matters globally.
I am grateful to Britain, to Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his team, and to every person around the world who understands that standing with Ukraine is the right thing to do – that it means being on the right side of history.

Arriving into St Pancras does make you a bit proud.
Eurostar train to the underground in about 5 minutes and unlike arriving into many airports the elegant building, bustle of the station and attractive public realm must give a great first impression of Britain.

Freedom of Movement would be a "key condition" of rejoining the single market.

- Upgrades UK growth this year by 0.3% to 1.3%, joint second highest in G7, defying the idea the UK would be hardest hit by Iran war… but inflation higher and growth trimmed next year

Look around. Every morning, millions wake up on 🇸🇪 mattresses. Coffee comes out of 🇮🇹 machines. A 🇩🇪 aspirin after a long night, some 🇫🇷 moisturiser to look human again.
They lace up 🇩🇪 trainers, check the time on a 🇨🇭 watch and grab phones powered by 🇬🇧 chip architecture and built with 🇳🇱 machines.
On the way to work, playlists stream through the speakers courtesy of a 🇸🇪 service.
At the office, 🇫🇷 lenses get a quick wipe. Wireless headphones connect through a 🇸🇪 invention. At lunch, the chip in a bank card may well be 🇳🇱.
By 3pm, some are already dreaming of a holiday. A 🇫🇷🇩🇪🇪🇸🇬🇧 plane might fly them off for a well-earned change of scenery.

Extraordinary response to @MarkCarney speech in European Parliament. Standing ovation from almost all MEPs and huge applause in public gallery. A new world order really is being shaped and it is not how Trump’s USA imagined. It used to be taken as read that the US President led the free world. No more. UK really needs to get fully on board with the big changes taking place. I hope this was discussed at the football last night!! Meanwhile both in our interview with @Ed_Miliband and latest @RestIsPolitics the Carney worldview is on the agenda.

Excl - Leaked Labour polling appears to show Zack Polanski is now viewed as weak, unpatriotic and untrustworthy by London voters.
The internal polling suggests the Green Party leader’s personal ratings in the capital have fallen into the red since the beginning of the year.
The new surveys - obtained by Metro - come as local Green Party members decide tonight who will be their candidate to stand in Holborn and St Pancras.
