Have any questions about NIL, recruiting, becoming a pro, etc., now is the time to ask.
What should you expect from an NIL agent? What schools are the best fit for your game/goals? Parents, what should you watch for in the people around your kid? DM or text me any questions

Brewers catcher William Contreras has been remarkable with the ABS challenge system this year.
Regular season: 105/185 (57%)
Postseason: 20/30 (67%)
World Series (so far): 11/11 (100%)
There’s a fascinating layer of performance here involving visual processing, perceptual accuracy, decision-making, and trust. The ability to recognize what you’re seeing, make a decision, and commit to it without second-guessing yourself is a distinguishing performance skill. It’s also trainable.
Contreras is demonstrating why physical ability is only one dimension of athletic performance. The deeper layers of performance, including how athletes perceive, process, decide, and respond under pressure, are equally important to develop and can ultimately determine how effectively they access and apply their physical capabilities.
His comments about the Brewers’ mindset during their postseason run illustrate another important dimension of performance. Reflecting on their response to adversity against the Dodgers, Contreras described a dugout that wasn’t necessarily calm. The collective attitude was essentially, “Let’s end this.”
I talk about this distinction with athletes all the time. Regulation doesn’t automatically mean calm. It means having the capacity to meet the moment with the appropriate level of energy, intensity, and intention. Sometimes that looks like composure and patience. Other times it looks like urgency, aggression, and an unwavering commitment to finish the job.
The objective is to remain in command of your energy and behavior without suppressing the very intensity that allows you to compete at your best. Contreras and the Brewers are demonstrating that beautifully.
I’ve just wrapped up a 12-hour workday and can barely keep my eyes open, but if I had to guess, tomorrow morning I’ll be waking up to a Brewers World Series sweep and William Contreras being named MVP.

William Contreras: “I think the team we are now, how we play fearless, that’s where it comes from. We fear nothing, because we’ve experienced everything. When we got swept like that….. it’s disappointment, heartbreak, embarrassment, all those things. So then a year later, Brewers / Dodgers AGAIN, we win the first three but they go up 4–0 in Game 4 … of course we know what everyone’s thinking. About to be Red Sox / Yankees 2004. Dodgers won four in a row last year, they’ll do it again. OK. But what are WE thinking? What’s the vibe in OUR dugout? I actually won’t even say it was calm. It wasn’t calm! It was more, Nahhhhh..... LET’S END THIS. So that’s what we did.
And just like last year when they swept us, and I said they were lucky to do that, I know this year we were probably lucky to sweep them. I won’t sit here and tell you the Brewers are unstoppable. I’ve been around. I know how quickly things can change in this game. Being hot in your last series, it doesn’t mean you stay hot in your next one. But I’ll tell you this: We’re a great team. We’ve been a great team. It’s just that every year, we’ve run into a team where it’s like, Those guys……. they found the magic. Now it’s THE WORLD SERIES though — so I guess it’s only two options left??? Either we’re about to run into them, or we are them.” playerstribu.ne/WContreras

If you want to reach your goals, and make the most of all you have, you need to become obsessed with the idea of reaching them. Obsession can be healthy in certain instances, as long as it's focused on the right things. Ask everyone who reached their goals in this game - most were obsessed and would not fail in the end
So many young pros would be much better off going to play in Europe instead of the G-League. They will not only develop quicker, they will understand the game much better. But so many agents think it’s better for them to have G-League clients, so they push players there instead of overseas

Players, always remember that all the hard work, all the sacrifices, all the rough times and times you doubted yourself, it will all be worth it. Just keep believing, focusing on what’s important, and knowing that the reality of reaching your goals will often be better than what you dreamed

The excitement of a new season never disappoints. In many ways, the past 6 months have felt like a lifetime. Now, this is when everyone gets to show what they have done during that time. I don’t care how good you were. How good are you now? Is your commitment enough for the future you want?
Players of all levels, there is a good chance that if you are not one of your agency’s top guys, you are not getting the attention you need to maximize your career/potential. Since NIL, many agents just signed as many players as possible, not caring about quality of representation. You are unique and deserve to be treated that way. Message me for more info

Once you point out to players how their NIL agents are taking advantage of them, it can change how they approach working with agents in the future. So many questions players should ask agents never get asked, and you end up with a mediocre agent or paying way too much for very little work. Message me to learn how to find a good agent

Just over a week until the college season starts. Get all your questions in now and get players at all levels on the right path to becoming a pro

One week until the season starts and it’s important for players with pro ambitions to track the development of their game thru the season. Start with an objective view of where your game is to start the season, and then check in at least weekly to discuss what they see out there. By the end of the season, you’ll have a good idea of what comes next. DM me to develop a plan now

Players- sometimes you have to say goodbye to people and ways of doing things that were comfortable for you if you want to take the next step in your career. You need to align with people who share your vision and goals, not people who want you to stay the same. It’s not easy but you need to do it

A key part of navigating setbacks is learning to be firm in your goals while remaining flexible in how you get there. When you become too attached to a particular path, it’s easy to develop tunnel vision and lose sight of other possibilities. Take yourself out of the tunnel. Sometimes the way forward looks nothing like what you originally imagined, and that doesn’t mean you’re any further from where you want to be.
Can not recommend the documentary about Norm Macdonald on Netflix enough. There will never be another like him, and these 2 hours easily reinforced that

Having to question your commitment to your goals is a part of every player’s journey. Sometimes setbacks will cause you to question what you’ve been working towards, and there’s nothing wrong with that. How bad do you want to reach your goals? If you want them bad enough, don’t quit
I have never watched an exhibition game or a game in the first 6 weeks of the season and made any kind of judgment about a player. Some players start fast and fade, others need time to adjust and then it clicks. Everyone in a rush to make grand statements about players too early
