Master of Light really putting it together now with an impressive win last night @EllisParkRacing @edvaughan1 and the team in excellent form and highlighting great skill and patience with this lovely horse.

We didn’t Burnham….

“Wearing my Spanish Police uniform I stumbled across the border without noticing the bloody great big Rock of Gibraltar and in search of my “buscando el bollo” for my breakfast when I realised I had accidentally caused an international incident…”

We lost the beautiful and the brave Saint Sam on Easter Monday at Fairyhouse. He was doing something he loved: racing, running and jumping. He was expertly trained by Willie and the team @WillieMullinsNH and rated 163 over fences at his peak. He won 9 races for me, plus another two as a 3 year old in France. He won the @ClonmelR Oil Chase and the Red Mills @gowranpark Both Grade 2 contests. He was also Grade 1 placed as well as placed in many other graded races (including The Fred Winter). Saint Sam took us to the beautiful @KillarneyRaces and won, to the incredible @Galway_Races Festival, and won, and to many other big race days providing so much fun for us. @PTownend won 8 times on him and @rachaelblackmor once; he always gave his jockey’s arms a good workout with his immense enthusiasm for racing! Maybe it was his heart-on-the-sleeve, front running style of racing that endeared him to many racing fans and I would like to thank everyone who posted on social media and contacted me to say goodbye to a lovely, talented, genuine racehorse. I know that Julie, Adam and others who looked after him will miss him sorely too. They say that God loves a trier and Saint Sam was most certainly that.

A very special day @CheltenhamRaces with Apolon de Charnie winning the JCB Triumph Hurdle under a brilliant Patrick Mullins. Huge thanks to the amazing Willie Mullins and the team @WillieMullinsNH. Thanks also to Harold Kirk and to Claire and Chris Bonner.

Sunset in Gibraltar today

Superb show by @texastheband and the brilliant @sharspiteri at @StarliteFest tonight

Poker Face was an outstanding selection by David Loder at Book 1. He was ridden by a host of top class jockeys who were always so positive about Poker Face, even when things went against us. Special days, especially in Paris, Deauville and Dubai. Thank you Poker Face 🙏

Poker Face was the horse of a lifetime and officially rated 116 at his best. He was expertly trained and prepared by @SimonCrisford and @edcrisford with the special team @gainsboroughHQ looking after him so well. Poker Face was bred @marlhillhouse 2/3

Terrible news yesterday that the magnificent, brave and talented Poker Face passed away after an accident in training in Dubai. He was being prepared for Super Saturday. He won 8 times (including two Group 2’s) and was second 7 times (in a Group 1 and in four Group 2’s) 1/3

Well done and many thanks @Harry05Derham and team with Jus de Citron striking first time under rules @DoncasterRaces yesterday. A lovely ride by Paul O’Brien with a very willing partner. Purchased by @edwardwabailey 👌 Thanks to sponsors @SkySportsRacing and @EBFstallions 🙏

Granddaughter Lottie was 1 year old today 🎂 and had a party in the park. She had a good time, as you can see. Pictured with her mother ⁦@Lucy_Ware⁩

Great to see Telepathic win @WolvesRaces last night under a nice ride from @loughnane_billy from a tricky draw. Many thanks again to @SimonCrisford, @edcrisford and all @gainsboroughHQ. Cheers to sponsors @BetMGM
