This right here is so important. We, as teachers, need to set aside personal philosophy for the sake of building on student assets. Manipulatives are just as good, if not better, than paper! Everyone deserves to be good at Math!
Physical math manipulatives should be available for students during assessments, including standardized assessments! #mtbos
