There is great joy in homeschooling older kids and I want to help you transform the middle school years into something both you and your teen will love.

If you are still using math textbooks in your homeschool with your teens, you need to consider moving to an online program, specifically CTCMath. @CTCMathOfficial #math #middleschool #homeschool educationpossible.com/online…

Every Christmas, I buy my kids books, movies, and games. Different titles of course, but they unwrap a version of these things each and every year. What do your kids expect to find under the tree?

Next semester, my teen needs to work on her Economics credit. Instead of using a set curriculum, I'm going to build a course for her. This is one of the books on her reading list. amzn.to/2E8q9s0 #Ad

Take some time this weekend to make one of these easy Christmas crafts with your teen. It's a great way to spend quality time together, plus you'll have a cute decoration for your house. buff.ly/2AXRtpT
My oldest just started her first real job and many of her friends are in the process as well. I can tell you that it's crucial that we take time to prepare them for this part of their journey.
Have you got a homeschooled teen who's ready for his first part-time job? Try these tips to help him confidently navigate the process. weirdunsocializedhomeschoole… #homeschool #homeschooling #highschool

My teen is on the "play it safe" unit in heath and she's been yelling out the names of drugs, followed by "Yep. Heart failure." The answer to any question in this unit is heart failure. It's become quite the running joke in our house.

Obviously not the actual heart failure or addiction part - just the predictability of the answers. Kind of like when kids in church think the answer to any question is Jesus.

My teen and I today just from the title release. Not sure how we're going to survive the actual movie. #AvengersEndGame

We are always working on various life skills in our house, so I keep my eye out for unique materials I can use. I'm excited to be adding this book to our collection in the new year. amzn.to/2QBVwly #ad #lifeskills

Your Harry Potter loving tweens and teens will love making this Golden Snitch ornament for your tree! buff.ly/2BzhAFe
That's what my teen would think...
Holy crap I think I'm about to find out I'm a wizard.

If someone apologizes to you, but the apology is all about how the issue is all your fault, can it really be called an apology? #ThursdayThoughts

I love hometown Christmas parades. They all have their own quirks and personalities. Really wasn't expecting to see mannequin in a boat, on top of a float dressed in a red bikini and cape today. But I did. #Saturdaymorning

These hands-on volcano activities are the perfect way to add extra fun to your middle school geography, earth science, or ancient history studies. buff.ly/2RrSyNy #middleschool #geography #science

I knew the vague story of how we got a Christmas tree, but I didn't know THAT much until I learned about Saint Boniface and where the tree came from. goo.gl/rMyQzf #Lego #Christmas #Legohistory #Churchhistory

Sad, but true. I'll admit that I'm one of the wimps, even after 30+ years of living up North.
