A big fan of how @browsercompany builds community I built an entire database on their marketing strategy 👀 Here’s 3 brilliant marketing tactics you can steal for your startup:

Why I'm giddy about what we've unlocked with Edvo - lets me store all my files / tabs / notes / emails in one space. I manage my entire life here now, from work to health to trip planning. All that data aggregating in one place = my own baby jarvis soon!
With long-context LLMs, the ROI on documenting your life has gone massively up. You can load up your diary, photos, and even emails and texts and write all sorts of useful software to find patterns, do reflections, ask the LLM for advice, or just have an "ask my life" app.

Our tools condition us. Didn’t realize how conditioned I was to think linearly and limit my awareness. Five months into using Edvo daily and I’ve reclaimed my natural ability to see connections. I see how much context exists around anything and can understand things more deeply.

If you geek out about this stuff / are interested in Edvo, this is a really strong thread as to why I build.
1/ We need better tools for thinking ... most of the tools we have were designed last century, for file systems. They barely work as note taking app's let alone tools for actually thinking. Much of the time ✏️ and 🧻 works better ... #TfT🤔
From as early as I can remember, I saw my parents living life in survival mode. Worrying about one bill or another, running from one job to another, sacrificing their mental and physical health to simply put food on the table. By the time I was a teenager, it became clear:🧵

To easily create good insights, we need tools to interconnect and collaborate across all information, no matter where it lives. That's what @EdvoOfficial has been building: share.descript.com/view/ytzJ…

We are creators—or authors—of all human knowledge. But the current paradigm focuses us more on consumption than intellectual contribution. Shifting from access-first web usage to authoring-first will mobilize billions of us for transforming seas of info into productive insights.
Replying to @Jad_AE
but what happens if we reframe so that more of what we do is framed as “productive” - so that it isn’t just what we consume that shapes our identities, but rather what we produce?

I’m convinced: sensemaking is the most valuable skill for an individual to develop in the 21st century. It’s a superpower that changes how we think, work, and live. 🧵👇

There are opportunities around us to learn *all the time.* But we have to have good systems that help us maximize how much we learn. That’s why sensemaking is so important. 🧵

Had to add this epic thread to my The Future is Female space! Thanks @anthilemoon for creating this much-needed list.
Happy #IWD2022! Let's play a game... Can you spot what's wrong with this list of "intellectual giants" by @farnamstreet? 👀 Men don't hold a monopoly over impacting the world with their brilliant thinking. Here are 10 women that changed the world & their thinking strategies 👇
#DailyGratitudeTweet - 182 Being introduced to @EdvoOfficial by @shireenjaffer_ - I've only been playing around with it since this morning, but it has been super duper neat thus far 👏🏾 I hope you have the absolute best day ever today, friends ❤️

#education isn't free if it demands sacrificing our agency or our relationships with others and ourselves. Learning should foster growth, not stifle it. I'm grateful for the @EdvoOfficial community and product for teaching me how to learn without limiting myself. #lolwithedvo

One of the ~37593+ reasons why I've been excited about @EdvoOfficial since @shireenjaffer_ first told me what she was building. Organization is not novel, but turning all your webpages into grouped workspaces (with 10+ applications open at once) is. edvo.com/article/how-to-use-…
