The outcome of spring day resulted in two of our buses out of operation effect from today. Our kids and community went overboard and damaged assets that serves them leaving over 300 passengers today of which many are pupils/students.
The videos of kids splashing adults with water on Spring Day are disappointing. Having fun is one thing but disrespecting strangers and arguing back when reprimanded is unacceptable. What happened to children playing among themselves? Respect and discipline start at home!
My God!! Unc @luphumlongcayis, these are the best #SAMA32 awards I've seen. Your vision and attention to detail were on full display. And @casspernyovest was pure magic, authentic, effortless, and entertaining. The skits were absolute gold! Thank you, Unc. 👏🏾🔥🏆😂 #sam

Gauteng has cleared its cancer treatment backlog, ensuring faster access to care. The Department of Health is strengthening cancer prevention, screening, and specialised treatment across the province.
Remember, early detection gives treatment its best chance to work. Get screened for cancer through your nearest healthcare facility. #WorldCancerDay #AsibeHealthyGP #GrowingGautengTogether
I hope Warras’ death sparks real outrage! Crime is choking Mzansi. We should live in inner-city buildings, not rent far away & waste thousands on transport. We’ve failed, prime spaces belong to criminals. Bryanston has a squatter camp, image! We are NOT angry enough. I’m gatvol!
Every hijacked building in our cities must be expropriated without compensation. Owners abandoned them, criminals took over. Reclaim these spaces, restore order, and make our cities safe again. Urgent action is non-negotiable!
Respect to @Chriseldalewis for waiting for the family before confirming Warras’ passing. RIP to the Shady Lurker. If his death is tied to building hijackings, law enforcement & government must act NOW. Our cities aren’t safe, we’re scared to walk or even drive. Enough is enough!

The four leading causes of death during the festive season are shooting, stabbing and assault related, and motor vehicle accidents. Some of these can be prevented if we practice precautionary measures such as not drinking and driving, being more vigilant on the road and avoiding quarrels. Think of your loved ones before engaging in reckless behaviour that can make your final address to be Six Feet Under prematurely.

As part of National Traditional Medicine day, which is celebrated annually on the 31st of August, @GautengHealth joined traditional healers in celebrating indigenous medicine and recognised their role in the health sector while educating the public about traditional healing.
The Department recognises the role African Traditional Medicine plays as a beneficial alternative in our communities. It is therefore important that we organise the sector to facilitate engagement and collaborate.
