🇿🇼 ZIMBABWE MAKES HISTORY! A proud moment for Zimbabwe, Southern Africa and the African continent! Congratulations to Ms. Henrietta Maria de Beer on her historic election to the United Nations International Civil Service Commission (ICSC). She becomes the first African woman and the first Southern African to serve on the Commission, breaking barriers for gender parity, geographical representation and opening doors for future generations. The ICSC is a critical institution responsible for regulating and coordinating salaries, benefits and conditions of service across the United Nations common system. With four decades of distinguished experience in public service and the United Nations system, Ms. De Beer brings exceptional expertise in human resources policy, compensation and institutional reform. Endorsed by SADC, her victory reflects the confidence of the international community in Zimbabwean excellence and leadership. Coming just five months after Zimbabwe's election to the United Nations Security Council this achievement marks another milestone in our country's growing diplomatic presence on the global stage. Zimbabwe continues to raise its flag high! 🇿🇼 #genderparity #geographicalrepresentaion #Multilateralism #ICSC #MakingHistory #Zimbabwe
