I composed a new musical piece recently btw, but actually finished this one and I'm quite proud of it.
The theme is, a stray cat who used to belong to someone watches people everyday. 🐈 youtube.com/watch?v=VkqlyqKE…

Bangor Daily News: Maine students hand Susan Collins’ Senate seat to Troy Jackson in mock election
More than 12,000 students across 115 schools participated in Tuesday’s mock election.
In Maine’s highly contested U.S. Senate race, Democrat Jackson won narrowly with 50.8% of the vote over Republican Collins’ 45.1%, according to results that the Maine secretary of state’s office released Wednesday.

Bangor Daily News: In recent years, the results of the mock election have mirrored the results of the general election. Students rejected voter ID and backed a red-flag law referendum last year, much like eligible voters did that November.
In presidential elections, the favorite among Maine students went on to win in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Hey @Meta 👋We are currently hosting a get-out-the-vote rally in Osceola County, home to a large Puerto Rican community, and our #LatinosConAngie @instagram page was suddenly taken down while we were actively posting content from the event.
This page is a critical communication tool for reaching Latino voters and mobilizing our community. With just seven days until Election Day, every minute matters.
We are calling on Meta to immediately restore the page and provide an explanation for its removal. Voters deserve access to critical election information, especially in these final days. @andymstone

I say it plainly: I do not celebrate Castro. I call Cuba what it is, an authoritarian regime, and I will fight for the Cuban families who fled it.
Meanwhile, Ashley Moody backs deporting Cuban families back to the regime they escaped.

Senator Collins, I think you are a little out of touch. This is about a cord of wood — and about Mainers struggling to afford to heat their homes this winter.
I know what it’s like to run out of fuel. I’ve lived that struggle.
That’s the experience I’ll take to the U.S. Senate. And I’ll use it to fight for working people.

You lost to a Jewish Zionist from Park Slope not Yahya Sinwar.

My values, my identity and my community are far more important to me than any individual election result. Regardless, it’s widely understood that I lost in my particular district for the same reasons this ad is repugnant, blatantly false, and incites even more violence against Jews.
And sadly, you consistently add fuel to this slanderous and anti-Jewish fire.

“The most independent senator” LOLLLOLLL AS IF. Susan is calculated and always votes with trump when it counts. She never votes against him unless she knows her vote is not the deciding vote being cast.

FINAL STRETCH: A new Susan Collins campaign ad includes this line on Troy Jackson: “I also know Troy Jackson. But we're not talking about buying a cord of wood here. We're sending someone to the US Senate, and Troy doesn't have the tools he needs to be effective.”

One of the saddest developments of this year’s U.S. Senate campaign in Maine has been watching Susan Collins, a senator once renowned for civility and decency, embrace the Maine Wire’s sickening racism and vulgar politics.

It’s disappointing to have to say this, but @CBSNews, this is a serious failure of editorial reporting. I clearly state in this clip that while I have not personally been to Cuba, I have spoken with Cubans who have described it as a dictatorship, and I believe them. To claim I declined to answer the question is categorically false. That is not journalism. It is misinformation.
