What is the ROI Premium?
The yield is distributed between stakers, protocol, buy burn, and genesis. If the protocol owns more shares than stakers, like the image below, than stakers are earning MORE yield than they would if they were providing liquidity directly on Uniswap with the exact same position. This can go negative if there are more stakers than protocol owned stakes. That doesn't mean you lose money. It means, you earn less yield than if you were to provide liquidity directly on Uniswap.
With little to no IL, there is little to no risk on losing money in these positions. Just more or less yield than uniswap, but always yield.
