Bring Nastya home. Please share.‼️‼️‼️
“I am begging you. I want to return home.”
Nastya, a girl from Oleshky with severe disabilities, was abducted by Russia. @emile_fondation located her in an institution in Penza run by Sofia Lvova-Belova, sister of Maria Lvova-Belova, wanted by the ICC for alleged war crimes involving the deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children.
Direct contact with Nastya has now been lost. We urgently call for an independent welfare check, restored communication and her safe return to Ukraine.
Please amplify her voice 📢

This is Ilya Honcharov. He was only 14 years old. Russia killed him in Vyshhorod, Kyiv Region on September 30 🕯💔
Ilya’s family had moved to the Kyiv region from Sumy to escape relentless bombings, only for a Russian missile to strike the building where they lived.
His parents, Pavlo and Olena, and his younger sister, Liza, survived. Ilya was trapped beneath the rubble and suffered fatal injuries.

This goes well beyond any normal "conflict of interest." Putin is offering a bribe, and he has already achieved a result: The current US policy, which is to stay quiet and refuse help for Ukraine, even as Russian terrorism increases and civilian casualties grow

Today, we launched the Planetary Health Check 2026. Seven of nine Planetary Boundaries are transgressed, and pressure on all seven is at its highest recorded level.
Yet, we still have a window to change course. But we need to move fast.

A brief confession from an ordinary Ukrainian.
Dear friends, believe me—as someone who has lost their home and native place, who lives in another city (within Ukraine), and who struggles with health issues and job instability—no one wants the war to end sooner than I do, and Ukrainians like me!
We simply want peace of mind at last: the ability to plan more than a few days ahead, the freedom to travel within Ukraine and abroad without worry, and many other SIMPLE and ORDINARY things.
Despite the horror of our loss, we are even prepared to make painful concessions and compromises with the aggressor, Russia. For all our intense desire to return to our liberated hometown of Mariupol and our sea, we understand that, right now, it is not worth the lives of our soldiers, and there is currently no military capability to liberate our home cities. So, there is no need to tell us that we don't want peace or that we want the war to drag on endlessly. We are ready for major compromises, but...
BUT, despite our desire to end the Russian war in Ukraine as soon as possible, we realize that if we simply give Russia everything it wants right now—allowing it to recover from sanctions and resume hydrocarbon sales to the EU—then within six months to a year, there will be a new offensive launched from the currently occupied territories, followed by new demands. And this will continue until Russia either seizes or destroys Ukraine as a sovereign state entirely.
That is why it is not just President Zelenskyy and his team who want to continue the fight against Russian aggression; the majority of Ukrainians do not want to become a Russian colony, and he is simply carrying out our will.
Don't believe it?
Just come to Ukraine and talk to people on the streets. Yes, there is a small group of people willing to give Russia the entire Donbas—and even more—just "to end the war", but they simply do not understand the Russians, for whom any concession is an invitation to further aggression and the seizure of more territory.
Just remember this whenever someone tells you that our president, or we Ukrainians, want an endless war and refuse to make concessions.
P.s. This is our last photo from our favourite Forest park in Donetsk region from 2021.

250,000 books. That is how many my Ukrainian publisher, Knygolove knigolove.ua/ lost on 19 July after three Russian Iskander missiles struck the warehouse outside Kyiv. Among them were my books, too.
This is war, and war inevitably brings human and material losses.
But when books burn, it is not just paper that burns. Culture, memory, and identity burn with them. So does a nation’s right to grow and shape its own future. That is why burning books has always meant far more than destroying merchandise.
I have waived my royalties for the next year to help support my publisher. I encourage you to buy Ukrainian books—as a gesture of solidarity with Ukrainians fighting, among other things, for the right to read books in their own language.
Books survive as long as there are people to print them and people to read them.

Last night, russia killed Olena Arkhipova in Odesa.
She was a mother of three, a volunteer, and a first aid instructor with the Ukrainian Red Cross.
She was running with her children to a shelter when a russian missile struck.
Her children survived.
Olena did not.
She taught first aid to emergency responders, police officers, adults, and children. She was supposed to begin a new course for people with disabilities today.
Rest in peace, Olena.

Všetci spomaľovali a preradzovali sa do jedného pruhu, on si to valil ostošesť v úplne ľavom pruhu, všetkých obišiel a vpálil do križovatky.
A ešte má tú drzosť bagatelizovať nehodu.

Ukraine has become a military powerhouse that is already defending Europe today.
We are accelerating work to integrate Ukraine’s military strength more closely into Europe.
Together with Commissioner @KubiliusA, I met CEOs from defence and dual-use companies to discuss how Ukraine’s battlefield innovation can strengthen Europe’s military capabilities.
At the Ukraine Recovery Conference, we also signed agreements to mobilise up to €1 billion in investments to boost our defence capacity.

Russia has attacked the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio in Kyiv, one of Ukraine’s oldest film studios.
The strike damaged the studio’s costume workshop and destroyed Ukraine’s largest and oldest costume collection. The studio held around 100,000 costumes and three million items of clothing. Other buildings and facilities on the studio’s grounds were also damaged.
Rescue and emergency services are currently working on the territory.

By striking the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the greatest holy sites of Christianity, Putin has forever put his name on the list of history’s worst barbarians.
He should be damned for centuries. And he will lose this war.
From the Horde in the 13th century to the Nazis and Bolsheviks in the 20th century, Kyiv’s sacred monasteries have suffered numerous barbarically attacks.
Now we are dealing with Russian terrorists who have already outmatched ISIS in their crimes against cultural heritage. Only Russian scum who have nothing sacred can deliberately damage the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a unique UNESCO heritage site under special protection.
We will be urgently initiating all relevant procedures within UNESCO and all other international mechanisms, demanding immediate and adequate responses to this state barbarism.
We expect strong reactions by international institutions and capitals. No vague words, silence, or weak steps. We need action now to stop Russian barbarism.
