UTM president Dalitso Kabambe says propaganda will not deter him from standing with Malawians.
Kabambe made the remarks as he dismissed claims that he has resigned from the party, after a letter purporting to announce his exit spread on social media.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, he wrote: "No matter the level of propaganda, I will not stop standing with the people and for the people."
The letter, which has been labelled fake, announces his resignation with immediate effect, citing personal convictions and a wish to pursue interests outside the party.
