And yet not one word from the ANC or any of our "impartial" and "independent" media companies.
What a disgrace that they cannot acknowledge an act of heroism by a South African simply because they hate Israel and have aligned with jihadists.

In 1928 a Chicago paediatrician let babies choose their own dinner from 34 foods, and for six years not one of them chose the way the pamphlet says.
Clara Davis took fifteen infants just weaned, and put a tray in front of them at every meal.
Beef, lamb, chicken, liver, kidney, brains, bone marrow, fish, eggs, milk, bananas, oats, carrots, peas, cabbage, salt. Nothing processed. No sugar.
Nobody steered. The nurse held the spoon, the baby pointed.
One boy ate seven eggs a day for a stretch. Another lived on bananas for a fortnight and then would not look at one.
They chewed bone marrow. They drank the beef juice. They pushed the greens round the tray.
One baby arrived with rickets. She put cod liver oil on the tray and left it there. He drank it, unprompted, until the rickets healed, and then never touched it again.
Six years. Not one case of stomach trouble. Not one deficiency. Visitors said they had never seen healthier children.
The doctors who examined them wrote it up as the wisdom of the body.
Nobody had taught these children that the yolk was bad or the marrow was rich or the cabbage was the healthy part.
Left alone with the food, a one-year-old built itself a diet heavy in the animal and ate the plants as a side when the mood took it.
The experiment is almost a century old. The pamphlet is still telling his mother to start with the carrot.

💧 The Bronkhorstspruit water crisis exposed serious failures in water treatment and communication. Suspending one plant manager cannot be the end of the investigation. We need answers from senior officials and political leadership, alongside lasting solutions. The DA has a four point plan to fix Tshwane’s water crisis.

Pledge 1: Fire corrupt officials and hire honest, hard working professionals.
🔎 Accountability starts at the top. The DA will act against officials implicated in misconduct, expedite disciplinary processes, conduct lifestyle audits where appropriate and strengthen internal controls. Tshwane needs professionals who serve residents, not themselves.

Another rooftop. Another insane Tesla Roadster test. 😳
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video shows AI-generated footage presented as a real Tesla Roadster rooftop test. Official demos were short stunts at SpaceX's McGregor, Texas test site using a ramp and brief thrusters.

What is driver’s ed going to be like?
And what are air traffic controllers going to do… see the mind goes in a thousand directions quickly🤣

Tesla VP of Hardware Engineering Lars Moravy explains to Hagerty how the Roadster borrows SpaceX cold gas thrusters to make 0 to 60 possible in 0.55 seconds.
Truly insane:
▫️ 200L carbon-over wrapped pressure vessel
behind seat holds nitrogen at 10,000 PSI
▫️cold gas thrusters push out 80 kN of thrust (equivalent to a single fighter jet engine)
▫️Tesla went with nitrogen because “it just seemed wrong to put fuel into a car” (air is ~80% nitrogen, fair enough)
▫️thrusters same system satellites use to move in space (eg. the “psh psh psh" from Apollo 13 film)
▫️currently takes 6 to 7 hours to refill all nitrogen but Tesla working for it to be 30 minutes
▫️uses leg actuators from Optimus robot to manage downforce on wing

While we were asleep, Elon Musk launched a flying car, the new Tesla Roadster!
It doesn’t have wings like an airplane or rotor blades like a helicopter. It uses thrust from high pressure compressed air thrusters (SpaceX tech), just like a rocket or spaceship, to take off and maneuver.
It goes from 0 to 60 mph (0–97 km/h) in about 0.8 seconds.
Elon said the top speed should exceed 0.5 Mach (half the speed of sound, roughly 380+ mph/over 600 km/h).
Production is set to start in 2028.
Tesla invited a live audience to the unveiling so people wouldn’t dismiss the stunts as AI. The car performed wild moves: driving upside down on a ramp (using a suction system), flipping and hovering in the air, jumping over other Teslas, and landing cleanly….

Dispute within the GNU over AGOA
The Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) and the Democratic Alliance (DA) have informed Solidarity of their planned action within the Government of National Unity (GNU) regarding the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) of the United States.
The FF Plus has formally declared a dispute within the GNU, while the DA has indicated that the matter will be placed on the Cabinet agenda, with the potential to declare a dispute. The DA has also announced several other steps it intends to take.
This follows a letter from Solidarity to the DA and FF Plus, calling on the two parties, who receive the majority of Solidarity members’ support at the ballot box, to enter a dispute within the GNU over AGOA.
According to Solidarity, the government’s reckless foreign policy could result in South Africa being excluded from AGOA. The White House is expected to decide on the matter on or before 1 November.
Solidarity emphasises that more than 500,000 jobs in South Africa depend on trade with the United States, of which approximately 250,000 are linked to AGOA.
Dr Dirk Hermann, Solidarity Chief Executive, says these actions send an important message that the ANC’s handling of relations with the US does not enjoy the support of all GNU partners.
“We welcome these actions. Workers and their families cannot be made to pay the price for the ANC’s ideological stubbornness. Jobs and trade relations must now take precedence over party politics,” says Hermann.
The FF Plus is calling for an urgent, coordinated government plan to retain South Africa’s AGOA benefits. The party also demands that Ministers Ronald Lamola and Parks Tau report to the GNU parties on negotiations with the US and on the concrete steps being taken to address outstanding US concerns.
The DA has confirmed that its leader, Geordin Hill-Lewis, has raised the matter personally with President Cyril Ramaphosa and that the party is already engaging with US government representatives. Minister Willie Aucamp will raise the issue in Cabinet and has also arranged an urgent discussion with the US government.
“The dispute strengthens our hand in discussions with the Americans, but it must now lead to decisive action.
“Our members in the agricultural, motor manufacturing and mining industries need certainty about their jobs. They cannot afford to wait for a protracted government process,” says Hermann.
Solidarity plans to engage with the White House on AGOA this week and to hold further discussions with the US government in Washington later this month.
“We have only one goal in mind, and that is to save AGOA for South Africa and protect our people’s jobs. We have only a few weeks left. The government must now put the national interest ahead of the ANC’s ideology,” says Hermann.
