Shoutout to Dr @KateIdaLathrop for moderating a great discussion on how to make the most of conferences.
Because after the meeting, what matters is what you learned, who you met, and how you put it into practice—especially early in your career.@LSOM_HemOnc @precisca_
Thank you, @precisca_ and Dr @OncDocMJ for another excellent event bringing together thoughtful discussions, and valuable takeaways for fellows. Always great to learn from different viewpoints and leave with practical insights to carry forward. 🙌#HemeOnc

Great day at @ASCO headquarters for the FDA/ASCO Hematology & Oncology Fellows’ Day Workshop. Phenomenal presentations on the drug approval process and how the @FDA is on everyone’s team as they work to balance getting promising new therapies to patients as quickly as possible while ensuring they are safe and effective.

🔥 Hot off the press 📚:
An all-oral regimen for newly diagnosed AML in older and unfit patients shows impressive remission rates (CR 47%, CR/CRi 63% and mOS 15.5 months) and opens the path for frontline AML treatment out of the infusion center 🙌
In a phase 1–2 trial involving patients with acute myeloid leukemia, the use of oral decitabine–cedazuridine with venetoclax induced a complete response in 47% of patients, with expected myelosuppressive effects. Full ASCERTAIN-V trial results: nej.md/4fpoGzl

Congrats to @theglpman for such a great talk!👏
Real-world analysis demonstrated a 51% reduction in AML risk among high-risk adults, with even greater reductions observed in patients with prior chemotherapy exposure. No new safety signals identified 🚨
