Post session sightseeing in Balboa Park #cei2022
Headed to the #cei2022 summit! Looking forward to connecting with innovative educators this week in San Diego
This. Here's why apps like Snapchat must be viewed as legit news/info sources and not just apps teens use to communicate. Dismissing platforms kids use most sends the msg that info there doesn't need 2b scrutinized, which very, very wrong. #digitaldetectivesquad cc @dhudgins

Today, women are the sole or necessary income earners in a majority of U.S. households with children. Equal pay for women for equal work is good for America’s working families and for our country. When women succeed, America succeeds.

I'd like to teach y'all a Southern phrase that will help you get off a phone/Zoom/Facetime call or you don't want to be on anymore but don't have an excuse to leave. Let me introduce you to the power of "Well, let me let you go"

Does anyone have a recommendation for an online strengths finder tool? A Teacher is looking for a tool to use with Ss as part of a leadership workshop.

Cool idea that our VP @aleaness found online and I’m loving: To take pressure off of kids, ask them to type answers into Zoom chat but not click send. After set amt of time, tell them all to submit. The answers arrive in a blast that everyone can scroll through. 😍 thanks boss!
What I learned at today's PD. Nobody should be made to do synchronous learning from 8-3.

Strongly suggest teachers leave their asynchronous assignment due dates through the weekend instead of a Friday due date. Parents might only be able to help on weekends and kids need time to internalize the habit of managing and completing offline work.
