Facts matter. Here's what's REALLY happening with the Nidal Hasan case.
President Trump has approved the Pentagon plan to execute Nidal Hasan by Army firing squad and livestream it on December 3rd at Fort Hood the same base where he murdered 13 Americans in 2009.
Hasan was an Army major who shouted "Allahu Akbar" and opened fire on his own fellow soldiers. 13 killed, 32 wounded. He was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder and sentenced to death back in 2013. This would be the first U.S. military execution since 1961 and the first by firing squad since 1945.
Pete Hegseth said it best: "Army major betrays his country, radical Islamist kills a bunch of Americans... He's going to get a firing squad of soldiers, as it should be, and we'll make sure people are able to watch it, that it's public, because people need to understand there's serious consequences."
Trump backed it completely: "Absolutely, I approved... He deserves it."
Now of course, some Republicans and religious leaders are warning that livestreaming it could radicalize others or turn it into a spectacle. I get the concern, but my opinion?
For 13 years, the families of those 13 heroes have waited for justice. For 13 years, this terrorist has sat on death row. There needs to be a message that if you betray this country and murder our soldiers in uniform, there are ultimate consequences.
This was never just a shooting. It was a radical Islamist attack inside our own military. And for too long we were too politically correct to even call it that.
Justice delayed is justice denied. On December 3rd, justice will finally be served.

When a fly falls into a cup of coffee.
The Italian – throws the cup, breaks it, and walks away in a fit of rage.
The German – carefully washes the cup, sterilises it and makes a new cup of coffee.
The Frenchman – takes out the fly and drinks the coffee.
The Chinese – eats the fly and throws away the coffee.
The Russian – drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge.
The Israeli – sells the coffee to the Frenchman, sells the fly to the Chinese, sells the cup to the Italian, drinks a cup of tea, and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee.
The Palestinian - blames the Israeli for the fly falling into his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, the German and the Russian are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he should give away his cup of tea to the Palestinian so there will be peace.

The White House says the days of fraudsters stealing from the American people are over. Good. Say it, then show the work.
Americans work hard for that money. When it goes out the door through fraud, waste, or abuse, the people footing the bill deserve to see who took it and what was done about it.

That’s not just about catching criminals. It's about warrantless surveillance.

UMass Dartmouth running back, Marvin Antoine, was stabbed to death outside a Rhode Island nightclub.
His teammate, Kensley Macean was also stabbed, but sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Chukuwnonso Uzoma-eze, a 19 year old from Nigeria who was supposed to leave the US in June of 2016, was arrested and charged with murder.
