Princeton and Herbert Hoover have played each of the last three seasons -- I've been at each game -- but this is the first one of those that has been in the regular season and the previous two were at Princeton. Two top 5 Class AAA teams ready to battle. #wvprepfb

Spoke this week with South Charleston football coach Donnie Mays and Spring Valley coach Brad Dingess. Their teams meet Friday in Wayne County in the de facto MSAC Gold Division title game.
Check it out later this week in @GazMailSports and @heralddispatch!

1-2 international games should be enough. Teams should rotate who has to do it.
It’s bullshit to take away home games from teams, most of whose stadiums are publicly funded, just to “grow the game” globally. Have a retired player host a watch party event overseas or something simple. This shit is insane. There’s no reason players need to be flying to Australia or Japan to play a game while their home stadium sits empty and their season ticket holders watch from home.
End rant

Final: Frankfort 55, Wahama 27.
Better game than the score indicates. Frankfort’s depth showed up in the second half.
Wahama loses its first regular season game in five years.

Facing fourth-and-10 from its own 45, Wahama burns a timeout to avoid a delay of game.
Herbert Hoover 31, Princeton 21. Final. David Robinson finishes with 211 yards on 23 carries and 3 TDs
