hey cuties, taking a quick break to talk about something pretty neat! big shoutout to @EmberEdge for hooking me up with their KX100 mousepad.
initial impressions? great packaging. my new favorite mousepad size (600x470). quality? honestly great. sleek branding, high-quality material, and solid stitching. aim pracc'd with it and it felt very consistent so far.
gonna keep it on my desk for a while, and give it a proper run-through. ill post a more in-depth final review in the future.

Immediately when you receive it comes in a flat box so plus on that.
Below the surface stitching, so plus on that!
Stitching is really well done!
Nice balanced pad.
W size Imo 600mm x 470mm allows more flicking space!

EmberEdge KX100 - Review
This mouse pad was provided by @EmberEdge, but this does not affect my opinion.
Mousepad packaging
The packaging is very similar to the artisan mousepad. The pad is sent flat not rolled up which is great. otherwise the box is nice it has the information about the mousepad on.
First impressions
At first glance, the mouse pad looks decent with a small logo on the bottom right corner. It feels rougher to the touch than a classic pad, but smoother than the Artisan Hien mid. The edges of the pad look a little cheap, but I had no problem with them.
Basic information
The size of the pad is 600mm x 470mm, which is a bit of a problem for me as I don't have a full loose table, but I can see how it might suit some people. The non-slip backing sticks well to the table, even with very fast movements, which makes the mat a little heavier. It reminds me a little of an inked gaming mouse pad. Premium woven cloth is the material used to make the surface of the pad, and it looks very pleasant and a little rougher. In terms of speed, it's a bit of a cross between a control pad and a speed pad. As a speed mousepad fan, I found it a little slow, but I think it will suit some people.
Final summary
If you're looking for a pad that's somewhere between speed and control, and you like larger pads, this is the one for you.

Ember Edge KX100. So far seems to be a pretty decent, Medium Control, Gaming Mouse Pad.
Stitching is pretty much where the Saturn was when it was released. So honestly no worries with arm burn on the stitching or your mouse catching on the stitching.
Surface kind of reminds me of the LGG Venus. Not to fast, not to slow. Gonna be good for Valorant, CS, any fps game where precision is important.
No toxic fumes. Which is awesome considering the base is Rubber. And Non Coated too.
All and all, pretty nice for a first pad @EmberEdge
I will be on this for the next few weeks to see how it holds up, but the pad feels really solid. Cheers.

This pad feels a bit unique.
From the size (a massive 600x470) to the almost suede-like hybrid texture of its surface, the #KX100 from @EmberEdge is so far looking to be a solid option for those wanting to experience a new feeling under their mouse-glide, and one that also offers a nice balance between speed and control.
I need a lot more time with it as it just came in today, and I feel like I will soon attempt a small mousepad round up because now that I have experience with a few, I feel like I can actually offer some good comparisons and characteristics between some well known names.
Thanks to @EmberEdge for the opportunity to test this beast of a pad out, and I will be giving it some serious desk time to gather my opinions and comparisons.

This one is long overdue... I've been using @EmberEdge 's KX100 mouse pad for months...
And I love it!
This is a premium mouse pad, and it shows. The materials look and feel high-end, especially the stitches around the edges. These make the entire pad look so much better than the competition.
In terms of looks alone, it looks way higher-end than my previous Logitech mat. And I had one of the most expensive Logitech mats on the market.
In terms of feel, it also surpassed my previous mat. It's thicker and offers excellent tracking. EmberEdge is really going after the hardcore gamers niche, and they got the job done. I'm no pro when it comes to FPS but the tracking always felt top-notch.
Long story short, I got this pad as a gift months ago, and I love it. This isn't a paid or sponsored review. Next time I'll buy a new pad, it will be this one 👍👍
