BREAKING: UN inquiry says Israel committed West Bank extermination, genocide after Gaza ceasefire The commission, created by the UN Human Rights Council in 2021 and now chaired by Indian jurist S. Muralidhar, released its report to the UN General Assembly on Monday, the eve of Israel's national election. Its count of Palestinians killed across Gaza and the West Bank since October 7, 2023 tops 75,000, including at least 21,500 children. In the West Bank, Israeli forces killed 1,080 Palestinians from October 7, 2023 through September, including at least 237 boys and seven girls, the report says. Airstrikes killed six there from 2008 to October 6, 2023, and 254 since. It says Operation Iron Wall, launched in January 2025, brought more airstrikes and imported Gaza's total-destruction strategy into refugee camps, driving the largest West Bank displacement since 1967, with 34,176 still displaced in August. The commission also says Israel committed persecution, a crime against humanity, pointing to a two-track open-fire policy. It says rules loosened after October 7 let soldiers use lethal force on Palestinians over a perceived threat, while they are barred from doing the same to Jewish Israelis in the West Bank. Children are also deliberately targeted because of their age, it says. Central Command chief Avi Bluth reportedly said in May that soldiers are "killing like we haven't since 1967." The commission says the Israeli soldier who killed Turkish American activist Ayşenur Eygi in Beita in September 2024 committed the war crime of willful killing, targeting her deliberately. It says she was shot in the head about 20 minutes after clashes had largely subsided, was the only person directly shot, and that the soldier reportedly raised a fist to a colleague afterward. Israel's own military said at the time it was highly likely she was hit indirectly and unintentionally. In Gaza, the report counts 1,431 Palestinians killed between the October 2025 ceasefire and September 30, at least 300 of them children. It says that contradicts the Board of Peace, set up by President Trump, which told the Security Council in May the truce had largely held. At least 196 people were killed near the Yellow Line dividing Gaza by early April, and Israeli-held ground has grown from 53 to at least 60 percent. The commission says it documented new cases of rape and sexual abuse of detainees at Megiddo, Damon and Sde Teiman, and that two detained members of the 2025 Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza were sexually abused, one raped. Israeli military prosecutors closed two rape and attempted rape files after preliminary inquiries despite digital evidence. Of the killings it examined, it knows of no effective investigation, and no family has received a remedy, even where Israel admitted mistakes. Because it covers state forces, the report also faults the Palestinian Authority, saying PA forces killed at least 14 Palestinians, including two boys, from October 2023 to October 2025 and targeted journalists and dissenters. It says a PA operation in Jenin camp was coordinated with Israel, which reportedly launched Iron Wall there hours after PA forces withdrew. Israel did not answer either of the commission's two requests for information; Palestinian authorities did, the report says. Navi Pillay, who chaired the commission when it first found genocide in 2025, won the Nobel Peace Prize this month. The report cites Netanyahu saying in May that he had ordered forces to seize 70 percent of Gaza, and army chief Eyal Zamir calling the Yellow Line Israel's new border. Netanyahu faces voters today under an ICC arrest warrant. The commission asks the court's prosecutor to weigh adding genocide and the West Bank crimes to existing warrants, and urges states to counter sanctions on the court, which Washington has imposed since 2025.

Arabic ballot shortages reported in major Palestinian towns during Israeli election —— The Adalah Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel issued an urgent demand to the Central Elections Committee today following reports of widespread shortages of Arabic-language ballots across multiple polling stations. According to election observers and Palestinian voters, polling centers in key towns opened without basic voting materials in Arabic. Adalah dispatched a formal warning calling on election authorities to rectify the procedural failures immediately by distributing Arabic ballots and issuing explicit guidelines to local voting committees. The legal center emphasized that withholding native-language ballots constitutes a direct infringement on the fundamental right of Palestinian citizens in Israel to participate equally in the electoral process. With Arabic serving as the primary language for hundreds of thousands of eligible voters, legal advocates stressed that access to native-language ballot slips remains a necessary legal condition for maintaining electoral legitimacy. The procedural barriers in Palestinian communities follow wider claims of voter suppression raised by opposition figures as polls opened across the country.

settlers are TERRORISTS
Israeli settlers deliberately sabotaging voting at polling stations in Palestinian towns —— Knesset member and Ta’al party leader Ahmad Tibi accused Israeli settlers of intentionally delaying the voting process across Palestinian towns during parliamentary elections. In a statement posted on social media, Tibi revealed that organized groups of settlers entered Palestinian towns to disrupt operations at local polling centers, deliberately causing extreme delays and forcing voters to endure hours-long lines. The lawmaker noted that the artificial congestion caused a sick Palestinian woman to faint while waiting in line to cast her ballot. Tibi condemned the disruptions as a desperate tactic to suppress Palestinian voter participation and manipulate the outcome of the general election. Addressing those attempting to derail the vote, the veteran politician emphasized that the community would not be deterred by political intimidation, writing: "It won’t help you. People will stay there until they cast their votes."
