its actually not that hard to get your product mentioned by LLMs, especially if its somewhat niche.
Was kind of surprised by that
Claude code is SUPER slow starting at version 2.0.50, so don't update until they fixed it, it's horrible.
When I use Claude code and it messes some security stuff up badly I always think “would someone who can’t code have caught this…?”. It’s scary cause ppl might be shipping stuff that’s so easily exploitable
AI makes you 10x faster as a programmer and being able to actually code as a vibe coder also makes you 10x faster and more consistent
It goes both ways
I feel like at this time, shipping fast will get you the most value. You learn a lot in different areas and you have a chance to hit on something big. So it’s really important how you get your ideas to ensure they actually have some potential and max out the chances.
Working on a major update to Symulate that will allow you to build next level mocked UIs.
Currently it’s a „response generator“ with realistic data, directly in your frontend.
This is already great and helpful, but what if you need to mock real CRUD APIs that preserve state, like with json-server?
Symulate will let you do this, without having to set up any mock data by hand. You will be able to define stateful collections with custom operations that ACTUALLY change and preserve the state of your data.
For example: you have a list of products. You can update one of those products and this change will actually happen and persist, but it’s all fake with no backend.
This is perfect for creating customer demos for complex applications or features that they can actually try, with minimal wasted code.
All other cool features of the traditional Symulate endpoints will be available for the collections as well.
My launch on @ProductHunt pretty much flopped until now…
kindly asking for feedback for the next one 😁

You can build full, interactive frontend demos without having any backend or manually mocked data set up.
Try it with symulate.dev
