Due to dense fog in areas this morning Nettle Creek Schools will be on a 90-minute delay on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Classes will start at 10:00 am. Daycare for preschool will open at 9:00 am and before school care for K-6th will open at 9:30 am. No school breakfast this morning.

NHS 5K & Fall Festival including food trucks, face painting, games, and more!
🍂 Registration for the 5k is $25, which includes access to the Fall Festival.
🍁 You may also access just the Fall Festival for $5 per person.
🎃 Register online by October 15th in order to reserve a shirt.
🥧 Registration will be open until the event, but you will not be able to reserve a shirt if registering after the 15th.

The Club will be open on Friday, October 23rd (planned eLearning Day) to current Club members. Cost is $10/child and includes breakfast, lunch and snack. Club Kids are encouraged to bring their eLearning homework.

We know that many in our community are facing very challenging and devastating times right now. It is crucial that we take care of our neighbors and focus on our people. We live in a strong, supportive community, and right now, our neighbors need us.
Nettle Creek Schools will be CLOSED on Friday, August 14, 2026. All events for the remainder of the week and weekend are canceled. We ask that everyone stay off campus until further notice. Again, there are no school activities for the remainder of the week.
eLearning work from this week will be due Friday, August 21st. We will continue to re-evaluate plans as needed based on electricity restoration and the state of our community.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning in effect until 9:15 am including limiting travel. The safety of our staff and students will remain our top priority. Nettle Creek Schools will utilize an eLearning Day (asynchronous) today.
PreK-3rd grade students - Packets will be sent home tomorrow.
4th - 12th grade students - Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom by 9:00 am.
HJSHS students - it's a Purple Day
All assignments will be due Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

A group of our seniors started their last first day of school bright and early this morning! They gathered in the parking lot to cook breakfast and celebrate the start of their senior year together. 🎓✨
