To everyone new here — thank you.
This work can be isolating sometimes. Long nights reading court filings, survivor testimony, old articles, financial records, archived interviews. Trying to connect dots that powerful people would prefer remain disconnected. Receiving threats, silent and otherwise. Being watched. Forging on anyway.
So genuinely: thank you for reading, for caring, and for supporting independent journalism in a time when it feels easier than ever for important stories to disappear.
I don’t take it lightly.
I appreciate you. ✊🏼🖤

Why isn’t Caitlin as important as Savannah Guthrie’s mom?
We have been searching for Caitlin Denison, 19, since 2018. It has been a nightmare — her family being ignored, forced to push law enforcement for action, and confronting documented failures and corruption along the way.
No sister should have to fight this hard just to have their loved one taken seriously. Caitlin’s life matters too!

Replying to @BethP0201 @OtterDreaming
He is a man in his 50s from Nevada named Leonard Powell.
Hispanic. Multiple ex-girlfriends have described him as abusive and predatory.
He traveled frequently for work in the oil fields, or at least, that is what he told her.
Caitlin reassured her sister that she was carrying a knife and would stab him if he tried to forcefully touch her again.
Her sister never heard from her after that.
Caitlin’s body has never been found.
For years, we have pushed for answers — in the press and with authorities — despite Midland PD investigative failures that should concern anyone who believes missing women deserve urgency and care.
We continue to hold out hope that the Texas Rangers will bring the clarity and accountability that Caitlin and her family deserve. Despite what they say about me, persistence is not “sass.” It is sometimes what justice requires.

I do this work for the truth. It’s what I was trained and educated to do. I don’t do it for fame or attention. I’m not here to influence you—only to inform, to bear witness, to protect what is real.
In 2019, my husband was gunned down in front of me. Nothing has been the same since. One day, when I’m ready, I’ll share that story.
For now, this work is my light at the end of the tunnel. It’s how I keep going. And maybe, if I’m lucky, it will become my life’s work.
You can help make that possible by subscribing here or on Substack (link in my bio), sharing my posts, following, or even sending kind notes, tips, or coffee money. These gestures matter more than you know.
I don’t pay for ads or followers on X. I’m not interested in creating the illusion of success. I’m building a community that believes in justice and truth. That’s you—my people. Thank you for being here, and for supporting this work. ✊🏼🖤

Most people don’t know Caitlin Denison’s name.
But they should.
She was just 19 when she called her sister from Texas and said:
“This man makes me fear for my life.”
Then she vanished.
I’ve been working with Caitlin’s family and Texas law enforcement for years — reviewing evidence, sharing leads, and pushing this case forward when others wouldn’t.
This week, someone tried to extort her family for $30K in Bitcoin, claiming they had info.
They didn’t.
They lied to a grieving family desperate for answers.
Caitlin’s story deserves national attention.
And we deserve answers — not exploitation.
I’ll be sharing more about Caitlin so please follow me for more 🙏

Thinking of Cassie.
Thinking of Jane.
Thinking of Mia.
And all the women whose names we’ll never hear—because they were silenced, paid off, or didn’t make it out.
You’re not invisible. You’re not alone. We see you. We remember. 🖤🖤🖤

The local Reno reddit is reporting ICE raids in Reno, from North Valleys construction sites to the Parr Blvd and Pyramid Highway areas to several warehouses. We are working on getting confirmations. If anyone gets a video or photo don’t hesitate to share. ACLU recommendations:
