You are not waiting for the world to change. You are waiting for yourself to stop projecting the world. The world is a screen. Your beliefs are the film. Change the film. The screen does not argue. It simply shows what you feed it. Feed it love. Watch the world change.

The good news about Lula winning Brazilian election is that when he blames Ukraine & tells them to give us their land, at least it will be anti-imperialist. Unlike when a fascist says the same thing.

BREAKING: Executives at an Alaska gas venture tied to a Trump family friend have left after raising concerns about hidden Russian financing, per The New York Times and Financial Times. The company, Polar LNG, has sought US approval to buy equipment from a sanctioned Russian gas project owned largely by Novatek. One of its investors is Gentry Beach, a friend of Donald Trump Jr. Beach also said he separately signed a deal with Novatek last fall to develop gas in Alaska. According to the reports, Novatek allegedly concealed its financial involvement through a UAE-linked intermediary. CEO Joel Riddle, who raised concerns about the financing and possible sanctions violations, left in September, followed by other executives, who urged the administration to investigate. Vladimir Putin reportedly discussed Alaska energy cooperation with Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during Russia–Ukraine talks. The White House says the project came up only briefly, and there’s no evidence Witkoff or Kushner knew of the alleged financing. Polar LNG denies wrongdoing.

As much as I despise the government of Cuba, the last thing I wish to the Cubans people is another CIA-orchestrated coup, with the sequel of treason and misery that has become the norm after all those regime-change operations.

One of the most important things you can learn in life is how to be alone. Solitude is where you begin to discover who you actually are, separate from the opinions, expectations, and influences of everyone around you. Most people spend their lives absorbing the values and beliefs of the people they surround themselves with, never stopping long enough to ask what they genuinely want from life. Being alone gives you the opportunity to step outside the hive mind and find out. It also forces you to confront the parts of yourself that constant social stimulation allows you to avoid. There’s a reason monks, hermits, and contemplatives throughout history have placed so much importance on solitude. You cannot truly know yourself if you’re constantly being told who you should be. Solitude is also where mastery takes place. You can attend a martial arts class and learn a new technique, but the instructor can’t put the thousands of repetitions into your body that will eventually make the movement effortless. That work has to be done alone, without an audience or applause. The same is true of writing, painting, music, meditation, or anything else worth mastering. Every hour you spend seeking entertainment or social stimulation is an hour you cannot devote to cultivating yourself. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying the company of others, but a life devoted to constant distraction will never produce the same results as one devoted to discipline and practice. Eventually, you have to decide whether you want to spend your life being entertained by what others have created, or developing the ability to create something extraordinary yourself.
