Bitcoin Market Report.
You need to know this.
Bitcoin Top-Down Analysis:
1. The Weekly Chart
Everything should be built from the top down. First decide the weekly trend and then use the lower timeframe to form a bias.
After the range low touch at $60k, the bullish fuelled by mass short liquidations, has started to form some bullish structure on the weekly.
80K has become an imperative level to hold (you'll see in the daily chart how it's currently being exhausted). Otherwise, a sweep of the low at $75k becomes a very probable move, as standard Bitcoin PA has shown us time and again that a major HTF sweep tends to fuel the next major run.
(Note: every local top that formed in the bear market came from a major sweep of highs.)
With that being said, we're currently sitting at the weekly supply zone (the last weekly down close before the expansive move higher). This could be the catalyst for the next leg up, putting in the HTF higher low most market participants long for... pardon the pun.
2. The Daily Chart
With the weekly context in mind, we can now go through the daily chart with a finer comb.
As I keep repeating in the market update videos, auction market theory reigns supreme in BTC price action, with every major expansive move followed by a long consolidation / range.
After we flipped the HTF range high of $75k, which coincided with a sweep of the LTF low, we pushed bullishly up through $80k (a major psychological resistance / round number) towards the yearly open (another major psychological resistance) and started forming our next consolidation / LTF range.
Since then we've broken down through that LTF range. Every bullish attempt to push back up has been met with sharp sell-offs at logical resistance overhead, like the mid-range point of the LTF range (all covered in my market update videos).
Bitcoin hasn't been helped at all by news-driven events and global uncertainty, which naturally leads to selling pressure (like the ETF outflows we saw over the last couple of weeks) as people dump their risk assets in pursuit of more certain market conditions.
On the daily we're now back at our previous LTF range highs, with multiple stabs below $80k.
$80.6k is a key level in its own right. It was a prior bear market range low, and it was the primary resistance when we were trying to get through $80k in the first place.
Rather concerningly, we're currently back under that level and have seen some bearish underside retests of it on the lower timeframes.
That being said, for me these have always been levels of discount and uncertainty worth putting a small portion of risk on. Most people wait for price to be exploding to the upside before jumping in head first. The best expected value always comes at these discounted, scary levels that everyone begs for, yet bails on once the market actually presents them.
In the words of a once infamous person in this space:
"Big week ahead"
3. This Week's Macro News (some big ones here)
Bitcoin has been trading like a tech stock all month, so most of what moves it this week won't come from crypto at all.
- Wednesday: The Fed. No hike is expected, with most expecting them to hold until after the midterms. Microsoft and Alphabet also report, and the capex numbers are what matter. If the AI spending story starts to crack, BTC follows the Nasdaq down.
- Thursday: PCE and Q3 GDP. A hot PCE print puts a December hike firmly back on the table. Amazon and Coinbase also report, and Coinbase gives a decent read on whether retail is actually trading.
- Oil: Brent hit $116 after the Houthi strikes on Saudi infrastructure, its highest since April. Saudi, Turkish and Pakistani officials meet Iran in Tehran this week. How that goes decides whether the inflation trade comes back.
- Midterms: next week, and another pivot point for the Fed.
I'm marking my levels, cutting size and letting the data come to me. In weeks like this, most of the money gets lost chasing the first move.
My 6 rules after 9 years in this market (it doesn't matter but I think it sounds cool)
1. The exit is decided before the entry. Always. If I don't know the exit, I won't enter.
2. No trades in the middle of the range unless you're a scalping genius or a market maker, which you're not.
3. Never add to a loser because you're just praying to get out at a loss unless you've some magical forensics balance sheet reading ability which doesn't matter in Crypto.
4. Never increase size to win back a loss,if you're doing this, you're not a disciplined trader which just means you can't trade.
5. If the plan said no and price pumped, you still don’t enter. Read the last part of point 4 again.
6. Boring is profitable which means your strategy after studied and executed should be a boring signal where you're not leaving things to be guessed.
Congrats to everyone who stayed Bullish when everyone, every influencer was panicking and calling for a bear dump.
These new kids don't understand what retracement and the art of buying the bottom.
Our community which understands the market and plan, always win. Top tier.
Bitcoin Price Update 4 Hour.
1. BTC failed to reclaim the $83–83.5k supply zone. It put in a lower high around $84k and rolled over, so the bias stays bearish while price is below that zone.
2. On the PPI print, BTC swept the previous week’s low (~$80.4k) and wicked to ~$79.8k. It then reclaimed straight back above the range low and the 0.5 (~$81.2k). That’s a deviation and reclaim: the move took out the longs’ stops and the late shorts got trapped.
3. Price is now rejecting at the local high (~$82.6k), just under $83k. A 4H close above $83k opens up the nPOC at ~$85.6k. Losing $81.2k puts the previous week’s low back in play.
I walk through the higher-timeframe levels, the PPI reaction and what I’m watching next in the full market update. It’s on the channel now, link in bio.
Everything you need to known about trading Discipline in 2 minutes.
What you know about trading discipline is either wrong or not clear.
Traders keep talking about 'Trading discipline' as if it's some kind of meditation exercise or something they need to go to church to learn.
Course sellers keep talking about this because it's all philosophy and they can keep lecturing about it nonstop without actually showing any trading method, winning trades or strategies.
So here is what trading discipline actually is.
1. It simply means the strategy that you've made is hard tested before trading.
2. Before you enter a trade, you actually make an absolute plan about entry, exit and you absolutely know where to exit. You should know the exit before the entry.
3. Now here is the interesting part. Once this place about trade is decided, where to enter, why you'd enter and how the trading plan and price action would work out BUT if the price starts pumping, the media starts talking about it, and the chart goes vertical every second, do you follow your plan? Do you want for the retest of the breakout? Or do you get excited an then just buy the vertical pump.
99% of you will get exited and buy the vertical pump and not wait for the retest or your plan. And this is what lack of discipline is.
It's not some meditation or breathing exercise or lecture from Tony Robbins.
People ask me how am I able to make decent trades on Bitcoin in my videos.
Well I didn't do anything for 5 years but stare at the charts. Kept looking at the 1 minute chart for hours like a movie.
Tried to predict where the next candle till close and did 10000s of limit exits by predicting where the candle will close. 10000s of market entry, limit exits, all day.
I don't know anything else and I haven't cared about anything else. I had one job and I didn't like talking to anyone.
It's no magic. If you do one thing and only one thing for 5 years, you'll obviously be good at it. Nothing big there.
Bitcoin Price Update. Read it completely to understand where we are.
BITCOIN CHART UPDATE:
In Saturday's Market Update on YouTube, we covered the three things behind the move from $86.5k down to $80.5k.
$450m of ETF outflows, FOMC minutes pointing to another rate hike before year end, and an underperforming OpenAI revenue headline that hit risk appetite across the board.
Whether we like it or not, $BTC still sits at the back of the pecking order during risk-off events.
1. All that being said, while I'm sure most crypto traders miss the days when you didn't need to be a global economist and political expert to make an educated trade, we stayed true to the current bullish structure on $BTC.
The ~7% pullback, as I highlighted in the video, was simply an opportunity (one most people had been waiting for), just like the ~8.5% pullback in the previous consolidation from $82k to $75k before we moved up to $88k.
This time the confluence was the HTF range high (which we broke through and have now retested bullishly), the nPOC, and the HTF key S/R level all holding strong.
2. We then moved up, with some short-lived hesitation at the LTF range low, which I strongly recommended against shorting in the video, before reclaiming the VAL of the LTF range (which I'm long from) and pushing back up through the $83k region.
3. We're now coming back to retest the LTF range lows and S/R zone, which is crucial to hold. If we lose it, we could see a slow grind back down towards $80.5k, but I don't see that as a high-probability scenario given the higher timeframe tide.
4. The next real trouble zones, although sounds obvious, are the mid-range point and the range highs.
Around the mid-range there's the VAH, an nPOC, and the mid-range point itself, which has already proven its importance in this LTF range. With all three overlapping, I'd expect some kind of bearish reaction there one way or another.
Above that is the range high, which brings its own issues. With stacked highs and the Yearly Open sitting just above it, it has an SFP written all over it. But that's something we'll deal with when we get there!
I'll be dropping another Market Update later today covering some alts alongside $BTC, so head to the link in my bio and subscribe to the channel!
I am Bullish MTF because that first wave was of scam coins and scammer influencers posting Shitcoins.
Second wave will be of blue chips which will pump.
We form a top during mass hype (we haven't seen that yet). Then we dump when noone expects.
I will release 9-10 Crypto trade updates every week.
Will talk about What I am buying, where I might take profits but most importantly, at what price action I will take no action. This is most important.
You can follow the trades live on Youtube where I'll show my charts.
P. S. I am not an expert video maker so I want you to leave your suggestions below.
Also, leave a like it you're happy with these updates.
Yes we dumped hard but this isn't the cycle top.
I believe this is a pre-mid cycle retracement where some late entries get stopped.
Then we go back to 89K and then the decision point comes. Of course I'm not 100% right but no one got rich by being 100% safe.
Advice from someone who's been in Crypto for 9 years non Stop since 2017.
I not an OG Since I only consider someone an OG if they joined Pre 2014.
Most of you will only lose money because you keep chasing the new trend and follow influencers who shill you the next big thing, when THEY in the influencers have an insider stake.
You don't want to do the normal and boring thing if finding one system and sticking to it for 4 years.
You want to make it big with one scam coin but that actually happens is that you keep searching for it, with anxiety, hopping, never make anything and then are constantly depressed and then will leave, calling crypto a scam.
Make your system. A boring one with Complex system but a simple entry. And then milk this cow it it's old and then you retire.
If you stayed in Crypto through the bear market, when the markets tanked, when the scammers left, when coins dropped by 90%, you simply deserve to make it this cycle.
It's the law. That's what trading is.
Bitcoin Price Update. 💯
Moral First. Always watch my youtube videos. I discuss all my trades there, live and show my entries.
On our market update video on Tuesday we highlighted the $75k region as a key confluence level as it coincided with our HTF Range High, our LTF Range Low and the HTF Key S/R Level which spans from the 2024 Summer Range High.
With BTC showing strength amongst two potential cascading events (The Clarity Act & First FED rate hike since 2023), the trigger to get long was the reclaim of our LTF range low which we had formed a SFP at.
I've closed the majority of the position around the stacked highs just sub $80k with a small portion remaining targeting the nPOC just overhead.
As we mentioned in yesterdays market update video, BTC spends 90% of its time ranging with expansive moves too far and in between - yet most traders are screaming for the next impulse in either direction, finding themselves getting chopped up in the range and sidelined.
Large % chance we find ourselves within the same range over the next couple of weeks, for me the next real key level being the $83k region.
I am mostly polite because that's what my mum taught me BUT
Anyone who falls for any influencer, who makes you excited about buying a low liquidity Shitcoin, and then you lose your money, deserves so.
You want easy life changing money and want to follow someone who'll dump on you, what else do you expect apart from being dumped on and scammed?
Only depression and STD come easy in life.
If you're seeing everyone around you making millions and feeling sad, FOMO and anxious.
1. We made money because we stayed here when everyone left, if you're new and stay for longer, prepare and learn, your time will 100% come.
2. 99% of them are insiders with pre buys and 99% will lose the money in any dump. Many make it, most lose it immediately.
3. There is no substitute to being active, preparing and then slow trading to make it big.
This was me 5 years ago. Young trader. Newly rich. Reached 10 million USD whilst trading on Kucoin Shitcoins.
1. Since then, I stopped posting about PnL or trades which induced anxiety and fomo.
2. I saw what greed and envy did to people. Sharing wins and networth became a net negative. People didn't realise that trading slow, small trades is what would make you rich in the long term.
This is a reminder to myself and you, to not get rekt amidst the scams. Learning is free, executing is not.
Since most of you don't understand token mechanics and will get scammed. Let me open your brain cells a little bit.
You see a token pumping 100x.
You see the market cap reaching 100 million and you're happy.
But you don't realise there's very little liquidity. The billion-dollar coin you have has so little liquidity that after you've gained 10x on your position, you can't even exit. You're not stuck with a coin that's totally worth a billion dollars but not enough want to buy it. If you take profits, the entire market will tank.
This is why it becomes a PvP, you're hunting the other investors for exit liquidity.
Your community, which is your friend and family, the people with whom you prayed for the pump, becomes your enemy. You play against them to get the exit. It's either them or you, who can exit.
Hence, next time you listen to a shitcoin pumping 1000x and reaching one billion in market cap, know that the market cap means nothing.
Not everyone gets an exit.
Now that Bitcoin is pumping like
1. All the larpers who left will claim that they were already buying heavy and accumulating spot.
2. All those who doubted crypto and told it's over, will be quiet and return next cycle.
Have seen this for 3 cycles now.
People ask me if they should borrow or take a loan to start trading with a bigger capital.
My friend, if you can't grow your own capital, what will you do with borrowed funds?
