The case of Lucia is one that has been verified by the team. Before our post, we reached out to her friend and family member. We also have pictorial and video evidence to back our claims. #EndSARS
However, Lucia's family has asked that the evidence should not be shared on social media and we have to respect their privacy.
We spend hours and sometimes days trying to verify every piece of information. Please think before you share. Disinformation harms us all. #EndSARS
We have received a number of DMs from volunteers. We will try and reply everyone but please bear in mind that we are unable to work with everyone.

We are saddened by the news that one of ours 'Adeyemi Sunday' a vibrant fan has just passed on as a result of a gunshot wound sustained from the Police Authority in Gbagada earlier today. We have lost a big one in the Blues family. 💔

We have verified information that Lucia Adu died from an accident with a stationary truck on 20th October 2020. Her death was not from a gunshot by anyone. #EndSARS
She was dancing an hour before she was murdered by the Nigerian armed forces Lucy was her name 😔#endsars - a bullet hit her in the face and ripped half her face off.
Our team identified the hospital as Budo Specialist Hospital. Our calls to the hospital official line indicated that they were attacked by thugs not soldiers.#EndSARS
This quoted post is unavailable.
The thugs attacked staff and existing patients dispossessing them of their phones. As at the time of the call, the hospital is unable to account for every staff member. #EndSARS
To be able to document properly, we have to account properly. To prevent disinformation, timestamp your images and add locations. #EndSARS
