Anyone with Endometriosis, how did you get diagnosed? My ultrasounds don't show anything beyond occasional cysts/ complex cystic lesions in my ovaries. My lower left quadrant pain is constant, daily. CT with contrast didn't show anything. What do I ask for besides surgery?

I should note my CT scan did show swollen lymph nodes in my lower abs but that could mean anything and that's near all my pain :c. I have ovarian cysts on and off, some regular and some complex. I have so many other symptoms I can't fit in a tweet

Also, one more thing. I've come across an app called Juno: chronic illness. Seems like a good tracker for logging symptoms and stuff then you can use that when in your next appt.

Surgery currently is the only option available to get a definitive diagnosis. All I can say is if your not happy get a second opinion from another specialist. I was told I didn't have it in my first surgery but I was under a generally gynae. Then I asked for a second opinion.

And found a specialist in endometriosis, he told me he found it and adenomyosis. Causing my uterus to tilt and swell. Don't go with a surgeon your not confident in and find one you are. Always advocate for yourself or take someone with you who can advocate on your behalf!
