In case you are wondering, here is how you can tell the difference. Regular church patriarchy is when women are in charge and everyone is a covert feminist. Hyper patriarchy, or what we used to call regular patriarchy before feminisim, is when Christ is in charge, the men of the congregation provide leadership, and everyone, including women, is held accountable for their actions. When women invent terms like "hyperpatriarchy," they do so because using the actual word they mean, patriarchy, would reveal that they disapprove of men leading in the church. They cannot speak the truth because the truth is not in them. So they manipulate. This is a form of manipulation called Moralized Category Subversion. It operates through evaluative category contamination, selective association, and semantic substitution. This is advanced lying. PhD-level dishonesty. And it is remarkably effective at deceiving the unaware. Satan deceiving Eve in the Garden of Eden has nothing on them. Recent examples include: 1. Toxic masculinity: Used to smear masculinity. 2. Far right: Used to smear anyone to the right of Karl Marx. 3. Dangerous misinformation: Used to smear anyone questioning official narratives. 4. Extremism: Used to smear people with strong or unconventional convictions. 5. Toxic positivity: Used to smear optimism and encouragement. 6. Toxic work culture: Used to smear high standards, discipline, and accountability.

We see low male engagement in the mainstream pro-life movement for the exact same reason there is low male engagement at megachurches with smoke machines and highly emotive worship music. The norms and even aesthetics of the pro-life movement are undeniably female-coded, and they communicate to strong godly men that the movement is simply not for them. Just as megachurch leaders who structure the feminine environments of their churches wonder why men are constantly disengaging, pro-life leaders who truly want men to involve themselves in the fight against abortion somehow cannot see that the environment they are cultivating is inherently repulsive to men with any degree of self-respect. That is why we are currently seeing the rapid ascent of the abolitionist movement and other anti-abortion spaces that actively encourage male-coded behaviors and norms.

We are watching the pro-life establishment, particularly @KristanHawkins, attempt to redefine abolitionism right before our eyes. This is next-level gaslighting. I would almost call it a Jedi mind trick. The strategy is becoming pretty obvious. Step 1: Stop ignoring abolitionists as their message begins to gain traction, and start claiming you have always been an abolitionist yourself. Step 2: Invent the illogical categories of “Premature Abolitionists” and “Permanent Abolitionists.” Step 3: Convince the entire pro-life movement they have always been abolitionists, despite consistently promoting maternal immunity in pro-life legislation, ensuring abortion is never fully outlawed. Step 4: Demonize the “radical premature abolitionists” to destroy their credibility. Accuse them of the very things you yourselves are doing. This reminds me of the manipulation you see in an abusive relationship, where the offender convinces the victim that they are somehow responsible for the very abuse being inflicted upon them. Rather than defend their failing strategy, they are attempting to redefine abolitionism, claim the label for themselves, and discredit those who have consistently demanded immediate and equal protection under the law for all preborn children.
