You wanted discipline, so you got distractions. You asked for strength so you got weight, asked for courage and faced with fear. Every answer to your problems is delivered looking like a problem. When you asked for the person you want to become, life slid the raw materials across the table and you looked at them and said "this isn't what I ordered." The hard thing isn't in your way. It is the way. It’s the person you keep saying you want to be, showing up the only way that person ever shows up, and it's asking one question: do you want it or not?

The storms are coming.
Slumps. Injuries. Rejection. Disappointment.
And those storms don't stop when your playing days end. Life brings its own.
Faith was never a promise that life would be easy. It's the foundation that holds when everything around you shakes.
You can't control the storm, but you can choose what you're built upon.
The storms will come. But He won't fail. 🙏
