Everyone is welcome in the Abbey at 5pm tomorrow for the First Evensong of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple.
Music will include Bach's anthem 'Mit Fried und Freud ich fahr dahin' and Buxtehude's Magnificat - performed by @WAbbeyChoir and @EnglishConcert.

Great to hear such a robust and finely sung and played performance of Handel’s Amadigi by @EnglishConcert @stmartins_music last night. No faux eighteenth century prettiness but a real sense of the drama however ludicrous the plot! Two marvellous arias with trumpet obbligato.
