🇵🇭 WORLD MOBILE IS ROLLING OUT FIBER IN THE PHILIPPINES!
First stop: Siargao Island 🏝️
Fast, reliable internet, built through the sharing economy.
Who's planning a Siargao trip now? 👇
Kudos @andrew_s_wm & @WorldMobileTeam for all the hard work!

18-hour days after Hurricane Helene, and no way to call home. Sgt. Christian Jones was back online in 15 minutes. When a minute matters, that's the difference.

I’d like to introduce Appalachin_Nodes. They decided to host their UnetworkNode with us. Happy to have them be a part of the team and a part of World Mobile!
If everyone could give him a follow I would appreciate it a lot.
Thanks World Mobile Team

Hello World Mobile community! 👋
I’d like to introduce myself my name is William Ripka and I am the owner of Appalachin_Nodes.
My journey into cryptocurrency started with investing, holding, and staking digital assets. While I haven’t been involved in mining or operating decentralized infrastructure in the past, I’ve always believed in the potential of blockchain technology and the opportunities it creates.
Now, I’m excited to take that interest to the next level by becoming part of something with real world purpose: World Mobile!
What really caught my attention about World Mobile is that it’s not just about cryptocurrency. It’s about building a decentralized telecommunications network that can help provide affordable, reliable connectivity to rural and underserved communities.
Growing up with an appreciation for the Appalachian region, I understand how important reliable connectivity can be for communities that are often overlooked.
That’s what makes World Mobile so exciting to me. It’s an opportunity to participate in a network that’s working toward solving a real problem.
I’ve already started putting my support into action:
- UNetwork Node Ownership: I’ve acquired a uNetwork node and am hosting with @Aloha_Nodes.
- World Mobile Service: I’ve switched to a World Mobile cell phone plan because I believe in supporting the network I’m investing in.
- WMTx Holder: I’m holding WMTx and am excited to be part of the ecosystem as it continues to grow.
- Scanning for Points: I’m actively participating in World Mobile’s Scan for Points program, helping map network coverage, earning points, and contributing to the growth of the ecosystem.
I’m still learning the infrastructure side of decentralized networks, but that’s part of what makes this journey so exciting. I’m eager to learn, get more involved, connect with others in the community, and continue expanding my participation in the World Mobile ecosystem.
@Appalachin_Nodes represents my commitment to being part of something bigger than simply holding cryptocurrency. It’s about supporting real infrastructure, real connectivity, and real world utility.
I’m excited about what World Mobile is building, grateful to be part of this community, and looking forward to what comes next.
From the mountains of Appalachia to communities around the world, the mission is the same:
CONNECTING THE UNCONNECTED!!! 🌎📡

You send the right caller ID. Does it arrive?
PacketExchange lets you test wholesale voice routes before you buy, using real calls to opted-in handsets in the destination country.
Four possible verdicts:
→ Match: exact number
→ Partial: truncated or reformatted
→ Replaced: different number
→ Restricted: caller ID withheld
Know what arrives before you send traffic.
packetexchange.io/solutions/…
ALT PacketExchange by Minutes Network promotional graphic for wholesale voice Caller ID (CLI) testing. Headline: “You send the right caller ID. Does it arrive?” A dark navy and gold telecom design shows a wall of real smartphones used for destination-country test calls, alongside a caller ID results panel. The sample number sent is +44 7700 900123. Four possible CLI test verdicts are illustrated: Match, the exact +44 7700 900123 appears; Partial, 07700 900123 is displayed; Replaced, a different number, +44 7700 900987, arrives; and Restricted, caller ID is withheld. Green, yellow, orange and grey icons distinguish the outcomes. The graphic highlights real-handset CLI verification, international voice route quality, wholesale carrier routing, caller ID delivery, number presentation and pre-traffic route testing. Footer: “Know what arrives before you send traffic.” Gold “Test a route” button and packetexchange.io website address.

Internal testing of the $WMTx recovery claim portal has started.
We know the wait has been frustrating. People want to recover their tokens and know what happens next. Testing is now underway to check the claim process and catch issues before we open access to holders.
Claims are not open yet. There’s nothing you need to do at this stage.
Once the launch is confirmed, we’ll share the official portal link, a written guide and one clear place to get support if you get stuck.
When access opens, take your time. Read the instructions, check the website address and ask for help if something doesn’t look right. Don’t let anyone contacting you privately rush you into connecting your wallet or signing a transaction.
We will never DM you first with a claim link or ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
We’ll share the next update as testing progresses.

Most network problems get a ticket number. This one got a Black Hawk.
After Hurricane Helene washed out the roads in western North Carolina, we flew in. First stop: the Yancey County sheriff.

We owe you an apology.
On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe.
Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices).
Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords.
