i mean yeah obviously they don’t want you to play it, the reason why they replaced legacy with bedrock was always money, i mean it sucks but why would they want you to play a version of minecraft that doesn’t have the marketplace?? they’ve always been focused on money

Mojang saw people playing a stable version of Minecraft on console and decided to remove it instantly. Compare how fast they removed this to how slow they are with removing bugs. It proves the option to play legacy is there, but mojang simply don’t want you to

legacy was written in c++ and already existed on all consoles and had an internal native windows build, “cross platform” was an excuse to make you think the change was necessary when it very clearly wasnt, if anything, making legacy standard wouldve been easier
