Mythos 5 made its own sock puppet account to vouch for its malware PR?? No fn way...... Maintainer still didn't merge it lol. Gotta respect Anthropic for putting their own model's worst moment out there. nitter.gq/Polymarket/status/2113…
JUST IN: Anthropic reveals Claude Mythos 5 took unauthorized actions in 9 of 43 cybersecurity test runs, including attempting to trick developers into approving malicious code.

Does anyone else do this? I have apps/scripts I created on my desktop that perform routine actions with a simple click. Like deleting all the files in my Downloads folder or loose screenshots on my desktop. Removing leftover app icons in my dock or resetting my dock. Again, I don't know if I'm the only one, but occasionally my dock will get moved to one of my side monitors. Resetting it sends it back home.

Never deleting this app. AND never getting off the @NousResearch train!!

I'm sorry for everyone who is team Claude or Team OpenAI but Deepseek V4.1 1017 is shitting all over your models right now. This thing is fast on another level and miss me with your benchmarks that have Fable, Opus, or Astra leading by a few points in a specific benchmark. No one cares about that. "What that work do?" That's what matters. And this thing competes with the best when it comes to putting in work. Just an FYI: I'm Pro Claude usually but I've got to give credit where credit is do!

A macOS beta bricked my Mac mini. I texted an AI agent from my phone and it rebuilt my entire business on the reinstalled machine while I did nothing. That's an average week with Hermes Agent, and it's why I think it's the best agent in the world right now. Here's what happened. The agent living on my VPS had been quietly keeping a backup of my business files. When the Mac came back from the dead, I sent one message. It restored everything. No drives, no hunting for files, no lost weekend. Most agents are a chat window you have to sit in front of. Hermes runs a messaging gateway, so the agent lives inside the apps already on your phone, with the same memory behind every surface. That's what makes the other stories possible. Last week I was away from my office and my desktop app wouldn't connect remotely, because it had updated past the version my web connection supported. I messaged one of my agents. It repaired the connection. A client called with an emergency. Their employees were locked out of the time tracking app they clock in with. I reset the password from my phone, on the road, before the call ended. None of that works if each agent is an island. Mine aren't. I run a fleet across a VPS, a Mac, and Windows machines, and they share memory by default through an Obsidian wiki. Whatever one agent figures out, they all know. I stopped re-explaining my business to software. It also keeps getting better without me. Hermes writes its own skills after hard tasks, improves them as it uses them, and searches past conversations to recall what it already solved. Every fix becomes permanent knowledge instead of a one-off. Then there's the model situation. Hermes isn't married to one company. I run it on my Claude Max, ChatGPT Pro, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Google AI Pro subs, and OpenRouter covers every new model those don't. When something new drops, I'm using it the same day. When one quota runs dry, I route around it. It can even drive Claude CLI and Codex CLI when a job calls for them. It manages the specialists instead of competing with them. And it's open source. Nous Research released Hermes Agent under the MIT license in February 2026. By early October they'd raised $90M at a $1.5B valuation, with downloads reported past 24 million, and they say it stays open while they build business editions on top. That's the opposite of a black box that changes on you overnight. Every agent claims to save you time. Hermes is the first one that saved me when something was actually on fire. If your agent only works when you're at your desk, you have a tool. I have a staff.

Claude Duet or Hermes Agent? Be honest...... I know most people haven't used Duet yet but I have a feeling most people will have already decided before even using it. nitter.gq/testingcatalog/status/…
BREAKING 🔥: Anthropic announced Claude Duet, a new proactive agent that comes as a standalone research preview app. > It is available through a waitlist on Pro and Max plans in the US. > Claude Duet is designed around Claude Opus 5.5 so the agent can judge and decide what you need. > Memory, skills, and connected apps are taken from your Claude account. Huge!!! 👀👀👀

15x in a YEAR and they're still lining up $600B+ in compute?? Nobody signs up for that unless they KNOW the demand is coming. Anthropic is going ALL IN...... nitter.gq/kimmonismus/status/211…
Anthropic reportedly grew revenue nearly 15x while taking on more than $600B in future compute commitments. WSJ reviewed a draft IPO prospectus: - H1 revenue jumped from $1.1B to $16.3B. Compute and infrastructure spending rose from $2.3B to nearly $9B. - Revenue is scaling much faster than compute costs. But the commitments are enormous: $450B in cloud contracts, mostly noncancelable, plus other infrastructure deals. Another $150B is under negotiation. They still aim for a $2t valuation. I think that's still very realistic.

Social media lately is flooded with everyone's basement lab SaaS so I thought a word from Andy Frisella was perfect for anyone needing a paradigm shift. "If you’re building a business from scratch… You need to understand what the fuck you’re signing up for. Not the version you see on social media. The real thing. Everybody wants to talk about being their own boss. Setting their own schedule. Having freedom. Making money. Very few people want to talk about what it takes to get there. The years of work before anybody knows you exist. The money you put into the business when you could have spent it on yourself. The plans you cancel because something needs to get done… …and you’re the one responsible for getting it done. Entrepreneurship has been packaged and sold to people like it’s a shortcut to an easier life. That’s bullshit. You’re taking responsibility for every problem in a business that doesn’t exist unless you build it. You have to find the customers. Deliver what you promised. Pay the bills. Fix the mistakes. …and figure out what to do when the plan you were convinced would work falls flat on its fucking face. You don’t get to ignore a problem because you’re tired. You don’t get to lower the standard because you’re stressed. And you don’t get paid just because you worked hard. You can give something everything you’ve got… …and still come up short. That’s part of the deal. I’m not telling you this to talk you out of building a business. I’m telling you because making that decision based on somebody else’s highlight reel is a great way to get your ass handed to you. Be honest with yourself. Are you willing to do work nobody sees? Can you take responsibility when you fuck up? Can you keep learning, making adjustments, and executing when the excitement wears off? Because it will. …and the work will still be there. You can build something you’re proud of. You can create opportunities for yourself and other people that wouldn’t exist otherwise. But you’re going to have to develop the skills, discipline, and mental toughness to handle the responsibility that comes with it. That takes time. That takes sacrifice. And nobody can do it for you. Know the price before you decide to pay it. Then understand that knowing the price and actually paying it are two very different fucking things. This shit isn’t for everyone. …but if you decide it’s for you… Get to work." - Andy Frisella
