3 years back I sent this dm to 50-60 people. I worked hard, had my ups and downs and stuck through the bear market.
Today I work as a Partnerships Manager for @apcollective and @waleswoosh
3 years might seem like a long time and maybe my growth was slower than others but I鈥檓 super proud of what I have accomplished.
If I can do it, trust me, so can you
Play stupid games, win stupid prices
Crypto Twitter KOLs are a fucking scam. And we have the numbers to prove why.
We hired 200+ KOLs with 10M+ combined followers. Every single one had a 400+ Sorsa score and 100+ Smart Followers. Most had 1,000+ Sorsa.
200+ KOLs posted twice each.
Our result? 280 NFTs sold at $5.
Now let鈥檚 talk about this circus.
Fake views. Fake likes. AI-generated replies that don鈥檛 even understand what the project does. The same fucking accounts liking and replying to each other in engagement groups, recycling engagement and pretending they鈥檙e influential.
You have 200K followers but can鈥檛 prove you have actual buyers. You鈥檙e scared of referral deals because deep down you know nobody will click your links, buy anything or convert.
YOU HAVE BOTTED FOLLOWERS, NOT INFLUENCE.
And the funniest part? You genuinely think you鈥檙e marketing professionals. You鈥檙e a bunch of engagement farmers playing influencer, selling fake numbers to projects and calling it a career.
Our team tested this firsthand. We were ready to pay for influence, but got fucking nothing.
And you wonder why CT is dying? Why projects are cutting deals? Why marketing teams are moving to TikTok and Instagram?
BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO PAY FOR YOUR BULLSHIT ANYMORE.
Honestly, go work at McDonald鈥檚. At least you鈥檒l serve people something useful instead of selling projects fake engagement and pretending to be important.
200+ KOLs. 10M+ followers. 280 NFTs sold.
That鈥檚 your fucking influence.
RWA perps are essentially offshore derivatives on stocks, gold and oil that trade 24/7
Open interest near $20B means regulators should start to keep a closer eye on this
However, most securities regulators haven't said a word about who is allowed to offer these
> JPMorgan now has its tokenized money market funds MONY and JLTXX on Solana, on top of Ethereum
> JLTXX is built for stablecoin issuers to manage their reserves
> Under the GENIUS Act, reserves have to sit in safe, liquid assets like short-term treasuries and money market funds that hold them
> So a big bank is essentially building the plumbing stablecoin issuers will need
> Only qualified US investors can access it for now
This actually makes a lot of sense
A company as big as Polymarket, I would rather spend my resources figuring out a way to IPO rather than launch a token that will inevitably make a lot of people unhappy
What if $POLY never launches?
Polymarket is already one of the biggest names in prediction markets, yet now it's making headlines over internal issues and the reported firing of its CMO, Matthew Modabber
People keep speculating about a token, but what if there is no $POLY at the end of this story?
A big platform doesn't owe anyone an airdrop
Hong Kong passed its stablecoin law last year and now one of Asia's largest bank is actually putting one in front of millions of normal users
3.3 million PayMe users is a great place to start
gud onboarding
The US just finished its stablecoin rulebook
Yesterday the OCC, the US regulator for national banks, finalised its rules under the GENIUS Act. GENIUS is the federal stablecoin law that was signed in July 2025. Both the law and these rules take effect on 18 Jan 2027
Here is what the rules cover
> Every regulated stablecoin has to be backed at least 1:1 by safe assets like cash, and the issuer has to publish a monthly report on what it holds
> If you want your dollars back, the issuer has to pay out within 2 business days of your request
> There are also rules for banks that hold stablecoins and reserves on behalf of customers
> Issuers such as Tether and Circle can't pay holders yield directly but yield paid through third parties like exchanges is judged case-by-case
> Yield was the biggest issue because traditional banks argued that if stablecoins can pay interest, people will move money out of their bank accounts. The OCC hasn鈥檛 given a concrete answer to this yet.
a16z is reportedly dropping "crypto" from the name of its flagship crypto fund
a16z crypto will be renamed to a16z frontier and will start investing beyond crypto. One of the founding members of the crypto team is also leaving
However, it is not the only one doing this
In July, Paradigm raised a $1.2 billion fund for AI and robotics, and now calls itself a "technology investment firm"
Personally, I don't think this means crypto is dead. It just means crypto VCs no longer want to be ONLY crypto VCs
Star platinum鈥檚 post actually got me thinking
It鈥檚 not outside the realm of possibility that this was a long elaborate marketing stunt by Pump to hire Kimchi, fund his posts showing luxury products and cars
And now finally selling the dream that anyone can be kimchi
let me get this right, this @kimchi1x guy gained clout because 95% of crypto twitter is retards that thinks he made 40mil on trump when in reality, the wallet they all thought was his, is actually the wallet of someone in my fnf. when in reality, this kimchi guy bundled coins and launched 24/7 during the memecoin cycle and rugged you guys and you guys are calling him the goat and somehow he larped his way into the jews (alon) giving him a pumpfun deal because he posted pics/videos of his 80lb frame of a body wearing chrome and flexing in cars and private jets. Just making sure if i'm understanding it right.
Swapping your crypto gains into USDC might soon be taxable in France
Last week, the French parliament voted 38-37 to tax crypto-to-stablecoin swaps at 31.4% from 2027. However even the govt has opposed this and it isn't a law yet
Right now in France, if you swap one crypto for another, you don't pay tax until you cash out to euros
This amendment removes that for swaps into EU regulated stablecoins like USDC or EURC. So if you move your BTC into USDC, the gain becomes taxable even though nothing went to your bank account
The govt asked for it to be withdrawn. The budget minister said they first need to define stablecoins and make sure they can actually track these swaps
It is still only part of the 2027 budget bill. It has to get through the rest of the budget process and the Senate, and it can still be changed or dropped
It鈥檚 been a minute
Excited that AP Collective is working with NFTs again
