Just now, my friend got his divorce decree.
Guess what?
ZERO ALIMONY.
Moreover, the entire litigation expenses of the divorce were paid by his wife.
How it happened?
For the last 4 years, he kept saying one thing: “I will never give you a divorce.”
His wife was eventually fed up.
Her original demand was ₹1 crore. During mediation, she reduced it to ₹40 lakh in the first year.
Then ₹20 lakh.
And last year, she came down to ZERO ALIMONY.
But my friend kept rejecting even her zero-alimony proposal until she finally agreed to bear his litigation expenses as well.
Result: No alimony. No litigation expenses. Divorce decree obtained.
Sometimes, patience and the willingness to say NO can change the entire negotiation.

PM says Pune Metro Line 3 will be operated entirely by “women”.
But in Delhi-NCR, we don’t even need manual intervention to operate metro trains. Many are driverless.
So is this additional overhead cost being imposed on Pune commuters in the name of women empowerment?
And it is very clear why this particular Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar stretch is more costly.
The full journey costs ₹62, whereas the existing Pune Metro charges a maximum of ₹35.
WHY should ordinary commuters be forced to pay a higher fare for a ‘woman empowerment model’?
