From the PLAYGOUL archives… 🎃😈
October 1978 — The Halloween Issue.
Miss October brought the broom.
Dracula brought the disco fever.
And apparently clothing was optional at the Halloween party.
Some magazines age gracefully.
PLAYGOUL was never one of them. 💀

They say the sky is the limit.
But a limit is only a line
we have agreed not to cross.
The sky makes no such agreement.
It is merely open.
Below, the world keeps its rules
in streets and clocks and careful speech.
Above, the wind undoes them
without effort or apology.
And the broomstick knows the way —
not because it has been taught,
but because it has never forgotten
that the ground is optional.
So, come ride with me.
There is more room
than we have been told.
Love Sarah ❤️
P.S. The music in this video is from our upcoming album, End of the Line. 🎶

THIS ISN'T AN AI IMAGE. THIS IS ONE OF MY DEPLOYMENT PHOTOS. 🇺🇸
Some photographs become more meaningful with time. This is one of mine.
Real people. A shared moment.
The rest of the film honors duty, distance, and those waiting at home.
Until they all come home.

Today is National Day of the Deployed.
To every Soldier, Marine, Sailor, Airman, Guardian, and Coast Guardsman standing watch on a base, flight deck, or outpost far from home right now—and to the families holding down the fort back home—we see you, we appreciate you, and we pray for your safe return. IS THIS FAIR?
Right. I usually prefer spreading music, poetry, laughter, love and the occasional glorious nonsense. 😈
But today, I’m making an exception.
Pour yourself something nice and hear me out.
Spotify has labelled The Whiskey Rebellions an “AI Persona”.
“So what? Surely good music is still good music?”
One would hope so.
But according to Spotify’s policy, AI Personas are excluded from certain editorial and algorithmic recommendations by default unless listeners have already engaged with them.
For independent artists, discovery is everything. Someone enjoys a song; the algorithm introduces it to someone new.
A lovely arrangement. Until your music is removed from the conversation.
Immediately after our classification, our streams fell almost 50%.
Overnight.
The songs hadn’t changed. Neither had our production or ambitions. Only the classification.
We cannot prove how much of the decline it caused. But the timing is hard to ignore.
Spotify says it wants to combat deception, impersonation and spam. Quite right. Nobody should be misled.
But we’ve never hidden our digital avatars. They’re characters in an artistic world, not an attempt to deceive anyone.
Behind The Whiskey Rebellions are thousands of hours of writing, arranging, producing and refining. AI is part of our creative toolbox, not a replacement for imagination or judgement.
And here’s the curious part: Spotify says the badge concerns an artist’s public identity, not how the music was made.
Even human-created music can face restrictions because of its visual persona.
Think about that.
We’re judging music — an art form experienced through the ears — by whether the face on the cover is considered sufficiently real.
It’s rather like an election where everyone may vote, provided the candidates have been approved beforehand.
Democracy, with a selective guest list.
Yes, Spotify offers appeals for disputed “Likely AI Persona” labels. But my question is bigger:
Why should an artist’s visual identity determine whether their music gets discovered?
Imagine KISS having to remove their makeup before their records could be recommended.
Or David Bowie having to explain which version of himself was real.
Art has always played with identity. Masks, costumes, characters, alter egos.
And sometimes a red-haired troublemaker with big boobs and far too many tattoos is simply the best way to tell a story. 😉
I respect Spotify’s efforts to fight fraud. But is restricting discovery on the basis of a visual persona really fair?
Surely listeners deserve a say.
If they listen, save, share and love the music, shouldn’t that count?
To everyone who has followed us, shared our songs, added them to playlists or turned up the volume on a miserable Monday:
Thank you.
You matter more than any algorithm ever could.
Want to help independent artists? Keep listening. Follow them. Save their songs. Share their music and playlists.
Let music travel the old-fashioned way.
From one human being to another.
I’m still an incurable optimist. And perhaps a slightly unreasonable rebel.
We’re still writing. Still creating. Still laughing.
And we’re certainly not going anywhere.
After all, we’re called The Whiskey Rebellions.
It would be terribly embarrassing to surrender at the first sign of a fight.
With love, a little mischief, and absolutely no intention of behaving.
Sarah ❤️🤘

The Panty Sniffer – Part One

I am desperate for a release having been denied by my cruel absolutely stunning girlfriend, for weeks.
In truth, girlfriend was not a term of art, not anymore, things between us, have evolved.
Slowly, painstakingly, she has manipulated and seduced me into submitting to her.
I had not been fully cognizant of any of this, not until it was far too late, and my focus right now, while she is showering, is seeing if I can quietly sneak into her bedroom.
Her inner sanctuary, a room of feminine seduction and power, now forbidden to me, and take hold of her incredibly sexy and very sheer panties, discarded on her plush bed, bring them to my face and inhale her essence.
If I get caught there will be hell to pay but I am so worked up from her teasing these past weeks that I am insane with lust for even the slightest glimpse of her, or taste of her essence.
My cock rages with passion and neglect.
I am not thinking straight.
I am naked and on my knees and I am sneakily peering around the door frame to the entrance to her bedroom to see if I can get away with this transgression.
I need something, anything, my cock rages with need.
In truth I had been lurking just out of sight, down the hallway, for some time now as I had come to know her schedule well.
When she awakes in the morning, when she expects me to serve her coffee in bed, what time she leaves for work, but, I also know she likes to take a shower in the evening after work, and thus, right on schedule I have slowly crawled, silent as a mouse, to the entrance to her bedroom.
Dare I risk it?
The bathroom door clicks shut.
The sound cuts through the apartment's silence, a tiny, decisive punctuation mark.
Then, the hiss of the shower starts, a steady, percussive thrum of water against porcelain.
My opportunity.
A window, measured in minutes, perhaps even seconds if I don’t dare it soon.
Every nerve in my body feels live, raw, humming with a tension that has coiled tight in my gut for weeks. It's a physical ache, a constant, throbbing reminder of her rules, her boundaries, her exquisite, maddening control.
My knees press into the cool hardwood of the hallway.
The floor's grain digs in, a minor discomfort lost in the overwhelming static of my need.
From here, I can see a sliver of her sanctuary. The bed is a landscape of cream-colored silk and soft pink shadows. And there, lying near the edge, a delicate scrap of black lace. A promise. A nothing of sheer fabric, exposing far more than it hid. A ghost of her. My gaze is fixed, my breath held hostage in my chest. The lace looks impossibly fine, like a dark spider's web, and the memory of how it hugged her hips this morning, how the sheer fabric suggested, implied what lay beneath, sends a jolt straight to my groin.
My cock, heavy and neglected, twitches against my thigh, a silent, desperate plea.
She will whip me with that nasty cock whip if she catches me.
The thought of that cruel whip scarring my back and balls, scares me, I have never felt such pain. My cock and balls were raw and red for days afterwards. She had punished me for not assuming my ‘Proper Position’ when she arrived home from work one evening.
As she has trained me, to assume my proper position involves crawling very quickly, scampering to her feet, and then pressing my lips in devotion to the toe of her stiletto heel.
She always wears stilettos, and I have been driven insane with lust from how she moves and walks in high heels since the day I met her. She is sexy as hell, she knows it and she knows exactly how to use it to get precisely what she wants.
I really want to smell her panties, I can see them, right there on her bed, oh god, and taste her too!
The risk is truly insane, but my ability to assess such things is severely hampered.
My brain is lizard, driven by pure need and instinct. Sexual gratification had clawed itself with bloody fingers right to the top of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
