Selkirk #rcmpmb responded to a beaver at large in the downtown area. The beaver was very friendly & allowed officers to place it into a cat crate & return it safely to the river.  And yes, a beaver's tail makes them look odd, but without it, they would look otter.🦫 #MBMonday

Maybe we shouldn’t use temporary construction materials for permanent infrastructure. Winnipeg’s new 800 meter long bike lane looks terrible after only one winter. Would you want this in your neighbourhood? I’m worried it will give people another reason to oppose new bike lanes.
