Dry weather continues this week. Halloween looks rain-free and mild; finally some rain chances return as we welcome November and Standard Time Sunday.
New Month, New Pattern? | Weather For Weather Geeks 10/26/26 youtu.be/IYshRoAuOuU?si=Ie3K…
71 today; above the average by a baker's dozen. After a slight cool down Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday will probably be a few degrees warmer than this.
Compared to climatology, October has been the sunniest month of 2026. This year has actually featured several sunnier-than-average months. Exceptions include May, August, September.

El Nino is really cooking and will likely reach its peak late this year. It will have a strong influence on weather patterns over North America this winter. My annual Winter Forecast is coming up Monday, November 9.
Longer -range outlooks from the Climate Prediction Center suggest a more active pattern to open November, although a drier regime could return after the first week of the month.
Hey guess what....it'll be another sunny afternoon Friday. Cobalt blue sky for the weekend as well. The forecast is still rain-free through the middle of next week.

Next 10 days: chilly mornings and mild afternoons continue. November is likely warmer-than-average as well, at least to start.
The "Columbus Day to Halloween" stretch is usually in the 4th spot on my list of favorite times of the year. This year? #1 by a mile. Leaves+sunshine=awesomeness.
