Glad to see my home town is still making the news for all the right reasons.
This video is sure to put a smile on your face. It appears that when their owner was shopping, this Boxer had had enough.

Come work with me in The JCC Lab at @stjuderesearch. I’m #nowhiring a sr. scientist focused on applied integrative biology, a sr. bioinformatics research scientist in integrative analysis, and a sr. scientist focused on next-gen immunology. tinyurl.com/jxezsb3k #ECI2024
#2024SDB was fantastic! Thank you @SocDevBio and everyone involved in organizing the meeting. Being able to share the work from the @lab_ogden and have great discussions after was fantastic. The SDB community is full of amazing and supportive scientists! Everyone should join!
Congrats to @Eric_T_Hall of @lab_ogden for best postdoc talk at #2024SDB @SocDevBio Gorgeous data and he is on the job market so invite him and see it for yourself!
Really looking forward to the Society for Developmental Biology meeting in Atlanta (#2024SDB) next week! Come check out my talk Monday morning on how we are imaging cytonemes in mouse embryos!
Im trying to make heads or tails of my FLIM-FRET efficiency data from live imaging over time with multiple focal planes. Does anyone have any advice for visualization output?
Way to go @c_hom0 !

I’m about to head into the @BMCDB graduate #DevBio class @ucdavis where we will talk about this paper from @lab_ogden! It’s such gorgeous work and fits so well with the foundational SHH patterning lectures I give in the class. 🤩😍

For #MicroscopyMonday here is a solarized SEM of the neural tube lumen with added hedgehogs! In our latest work from the @lab_ogden we found cytonemes carry Sonic Hedgehog proteins across the neural tube for cell fate patterning. Check out the paper! cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092…

Have we now reached a point where we can seriously question diffusion-based, long-range signalling? Is there actually any good evidence, or is everything just based on assumptions? See also: nature.com/articles/s41586-0…
